I'd recently rushed a playthrough of origins to get a good carry over for DA2, but I hadn't really felt like going through the final battle again ((i.e lazy)) so I quit at the gates after morrigan gets pregnant.

My question is, I know that because Morrigan was pregnant that my character would survive if I carried the story over to DA2, but as my character was an elf, I wanted to know which boon you take as the default?

My other warden was queen but I don't remember what boon I picked, and so yeah, does anyone know which boon you take from alistair if youre and elf?

I think it depends on the preset you pick at the start of DA2. Either that, or it depends on your Origin.

I honestly don't think it matters. As far as I am aware, none of the boons really make much of a difference. You might get a bonus epilogue slide or two, but most of them are bugged, and even though DA2 has a choice of defaults with various DA:O decisions, the boon does not feature among them.

If you're a mage elf you can ask for a boon for the Circle of Magi, but it doesn't get fulfilled because the Chantry blocks it.

If you're a City Elf you can ask to become a bann, or ask for Shianni to become a bann (Shianni's is bugged - if you make her bann she eventually gets stoned to death by a human mob.)

If you're a Dalish Elf you can ask for the Clans to be granted some land. I believe they get the area around Ostagar.

I think the keep is probably one of the best ideas they've had.  No need to keep the game data installed on the same hard drive forever, and less risk of bugs not flagging your choices correctly.

I completely agree - it's awesome. I'm just hoping it'll go into EVERY tiny detail, no choice too small, and that they allow for outcomes which were impossible from actually playing the games (such as warden does ultimate sacrife, but choices are imported through awakenings, and warden saves amaranthine but the wardens left at a fully-upgraded keep survive).

not possible to do every detail.

That depends on what kind of details you're talking about.  If you mean "everything that had a flag in the game", then I'm sure they can do that.  But if you mean something nitpicky like the Warden's approval rating for each companion, then there are some things that could be overlooked.
