Other than putting quill to parchment, is there any other way of keep track of who you seen as part of a multi-person quest?

Example - The Blackstone Irregulars - Deliver four letters of condolences to the recently widowed Larana near Lake Calenhad, Irenia in Radcliffe, and Sara and Tania in Denerim.

I am know that I delivered two letter because I only have two remaining.  But for the "life" of me, I canot remember who I gave them to.

its true - there's no proper quest update ... you'll have to take the time to visit each location
there's also a couple of bugs that can keep from completing the quests

As a side note, if you nominate one of your companions to deliver the notice, they also deliver some amusing comments
