Can I legally install BG (either) on two computers on the same network?

I'm wondering if it's legal for me to install the Infinity Engine games (BG1, BG2, and IWD 1&2) on my new computer without removing the install from the ancient one.
Both are on the same network switch. I've had both BG games installed on both sides my aging WIndows 98SE/Windows XP dual boot computer for a decade now, and the computer seems like it's on its last legs. The IDE devices keep failing so I think there's something wrong with the controller that's frying the drives about once a year. The DVD laser on my CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive just failed, and in the previous two years both hard drives failed, the year before that the original CD-ROM (yes, CD-ROM, no burning) failed.

I'd like to migrate the game to the "new" Windows 7 computer, but leave the old one intact, but I'm unsure if the licensing allows it. I have an image of the old drive with the infinity engine games installed.

Oh, I'm not planning on using the LAN with both computers, just single player. I'm not sure if it's practical with the way the room is arranged anyways. They are too close together around a corner.

Essentially, the software license restricts your use to personal and non-commercial use, What you are intending to do is consistent with that so there's no reason you shouldn't go ahead.

Yes it is legal. If you sell the old computer to someone else then you should remove the game first but that is the only ifY bit.
