As of late, I'm getting unbearably curious.. I'm playing DA:O again, and I've read the stolen throne, and Morrigan says shes not a demon, spirit, or even fully human..

It is killing me lol.. Is she an old god? darkspawn of some sort? Andraste?

I don't want to speculate with this thread though. I just want to know if anyone heard a dev/interview/post about if the Flemmeth mysteries will be revealed in dai?

I definitely want to get some sort of solid information about her. Don't need everything, but at the moment she's so loosely defined in capabilities and motivation as to basically be a walking deus ex machina. And she's too important to the plot to remain an enigma.

You're assuming that's what she is. She might not be, hence the necessary explanation.

Well it seems that she have power to predicte future and set super genius plans and no matter what you do she is always wins even if you don't do ritual morrigan says that she wanted child but that hardly was important and slow her down as well killing her suggesting with her careless attitude and probably more plans and puppets than hawke and she seems know what he will do as far fits.

I doubt we will get her whole story , because she's not really the kind of old woman who tells you to sit by the fire just to listen to her tales. And bring you cake and stuff.
Besides she may be the only one knowing the truth about who she really is , even Morrigan probably doesn't even know everything about her mother.

And Flemeth likes to troll a bit.

Love Flemeth. I would like for us to gain a little more info on her, at least to keep us hooked on her mystery.

I'm firmly convinced that she is Fen'Harel.  She fits the profile of a typical Trickster Deity extremely well.  But I don't recall the Devs having mentioned anything about her.  I know you aren't interested in speculation but I think she might play a larger role in a future story.  I wouldn't have thought so, were it not for Morrigan's words on the subject in Witch Hunt.  I'd have thought she was intended to stay as a mysterious figure watching and working from the shadows, but it kind of hints that she'll figure into the overall story in a more prominent way at some point.

lol, It's only been two, actually.  Awakening is just an epilogue-ish chapter on Origins, and not only is DA3 not even out yet, we don't have a clue what the story will be beyond a vague overview.

I certainly hope she's not. That would be a pretty dull explanation.

I think the lore all but screams that Flemeth is Fen'Harel, but why do you think it would be dull?

No. She just flew in saves the day Inquisitor and we don't see Flemeth rest of the game.

If people (in this case you and everyone else that thinks Flemeth and Fen'Harel are the same) have already figured out the "mystery," then the eventual revelation will be incredibly anti-clmatic.

I just hope the writers have something unexpected and interesting in mind.

Flemeth feels more like she was injected to save both the warden and Hawke from apparent certain death than anything else. Her motives after two games are unfathomable. Putting her to rest for a century or so would be most welcome.

Another I want to kill player.
shrugs.
I suspect players will be able to do so, however I hope the CONSEQUENCES ARE VERY BAD for the players who do kill Flemeth .
I need a good laugh.
Cameron Lee says the game is about freedom while Laidlaw has warned about the consequences .
I guess players who fail to act wisely will suffer the consequences , imo
shrugs.

Flemeth talked to Maric, so it was a lot more than just the warden and hawke.

Riddle me this then: If Flemeth is who you claim she is, what does that make Morriigan and Yavanna?

I don't know, but I see no reason why it would have to make them anything other than what they've already been presented as being.
