Hey BioWare forums, I'm going to keep this short because I'm dead tired. Mass Effect is one of my favorite games of all time, in fact I'm still playing it now. But that doesn't mean that there's not still a lot I'd like to change about it to make it "better" in my opinion.

I don't know how easy it is to mod Mass Effect or how that's looked at by BioWare. I know Bethesda actively encourages players to mod their games even to the extent that they put out simple to use programs that allow just about anyone with little to know programming knowledge to do that with relative ease.

I'm pretty sure Bioware doesn't.
But I'm hoping no one minds, and that someone here can help me with it in any case.
So I've jotted down a categorized list of changes I'd like to make to the game and I'm really hoping that there are already existing mods to do the job that someone can point me toward any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Like I said, keeping it short, so I'm not going to spell out all of the reasons why I'd like to make these changes (which I'd like to) because then every bullet point would wind up a five page essay. Just listing.

"Realistic" Vehicular Combat
- Higher velocity and damage for Geth rockets: Ultimately I'd like it to actually be difficult to get out of the way of a rocket once it's fired at you so just off the top of my head I'm guessing maybe 5x default velocity on those projectiles? And also I'd like it to take somewhere between three and four hits maximum to kill the Mako.

- Higher velocity and damage for Geth "tank" main guns/eliminate "wind up" animation: Armatures, Colosus, anything inbetween. I want the velocity of their projectiles to match that of the Mako's main gun that's probably about 50x default velocity haha! And I don't want it to really ever take more than two shots from the main gun to kill the Mako. I'm thinking something in the neighborhood of the first shot breaking the Mako's shields and taking between 25 and 50% of the Mako's health (again, that's in one shot). And I'd like them to stop doing that "wind up" animation, like a baseball player getting ready to throw a pitch. Somehow I feel like they wouldn't design themselves to warn you that they're about to fire on you a second or two before they do so. They'd just shoot. Sorry I'm going into the why and I'm not supposed to. Truncating...

- Higher damage and increased accuracy for Geth "tank" machine guns: As it is with a target the size of the Mako at a decent range you only get hit by one or two rounds for each of their 5+ round bursts of fire and that does almost nothing to the Mako's shields anyway, and on foot you get hit even less. Bottom line is that I'd like it to be really difficult to stay alive if you get caught in front of one of those things while on foot, and I'd like the machine gun to erode the Mako's shields at a substantially higher rate.

- Higher damage for the Mako's main gun: Just as I'd like Geth "tank" main guns to kill the Mako in two shots, maximum, I'd like the mako's gun to do the same to them. So Armatures would probably have their shields broken and loose 90% health in one hit, while Colossus would have their sheilds broken and 10-20% damage on first hit.

- Geth Turrets fire Geth "tank" main gun projectiles instead of rockets: you really don't need a turret to fire a rocket, especially not one that big. Look up actuall missile launchers and you'll see skeletal racks loaded with missiles or large boxes filled with cylinders filled with missiles. But that Geth Turret clearly looks a lot more like a gun, so I feel like it should act like one.

- Higher damage and accuracy for Mako coaxial machine gun: One thing that's always struck me as being kind of dumb in the game play is when I shoot that thing at foot mobile troops on the ground and always wind up knocking them down and blowing them around the map like so many dry leaves in front of a leaf blower for minutes before they finally die. So I'd like it to be powerful enough to kill most any enemy on foot within a handful of shots after knocking them down. And then I'd like it to be about 50% more accurate because the grouping seems way, way too wide to me.

Uh-oh, I might be out of time for now. Too be continued, this isn't finished yet...
