Play for months and months, trying as hard as you can and just keep failing and failing until one day you finally get it.

Bronze has always been easy-ish. We were all "new players" with lvl 1 Avengers and equipment at one point.
But not everybody's going to invest 300+ hours into the game.

What does that have to do with bronze being not easy? You literally have to not do a whole lot than shoot with your avenger and throw powers without any strategy or specific build and stuff just dies in a matter of seconds.Farid-Yoda-N7 wrote...

As you play, unless you're so bad you never get any points somehow, you will gain experience and your characters will level. If you manage to complete wave 3, you will get a small amount of credits. Keep playing and that will build up and you can get better gear.

I pictured a team of 4 communicating and using advanced tactics to survive waves that are 1 enemy at a time and that enemy is a swarmer.

That's from the perspective of an experienced player. I don't necessarily agree with what the OP is saying, my point is that not everybody's going to put in the time to be able to play platinum without a problem. Most people probably aren't gonna get their uncommons maxed. So we (as in this community) are not a good control group for the comparacent you're trying to make.

No, that's how it was when we started playing this game more than a year ago.
It was my very first shooter experience on a console, on PC I never played online shooters - and it's really easy and fun to learn.

My point is not that this game is hard, or bronze is difficult for new players. My point is that we are in the minority.

You need to be willing to put in the time and effort needed to learn how to play Mass Effect - Playing the SP on harder difficulties will help you.
Unfortunately, the majority of people on Bronze/Silver at the moment are newer players' who seem to lack general gaming experience such as using cover, accurate shooting; If you have a squad made up of this type of player, life is going to be very difficult indeed.
There are no shortcuts to get anything in life that you really want means putting in the work to earn it. Cheating only gets you so far.

Then they're not vested in the game, and that's quite honestly okay, but asking to ding the difficulty of Bronze and Silver for those who are wanting to become long time players of the game is ridiculous.
Bronze and Silver is for the casual gamer. The person who plays a couple of matches on the weekend with his common/uncommon weapons. It's difficulty becomes an even playing field for even weekend warriors quickly. Asking to make it even easier is selfish.

OT: lolno It only took a handful of games to get some levels and some powers. Once you have a few powers, it doesn't matter what weapon you have. For bronze.

hmmmmmmm, yep as a normal difficulty (SP) player with a N7 1 Soldier with an Avenger 1, I extracted my first ever match which was on Bronze.
Even though I know this thread is a Bonecold troll thread as usual. If you wanted the entry level to be easier why would you need the next level to be easy as well.
And besides you can play Gold as N7 1 anyway it's just hard not impossible.
