I totally agree. On bronze enemies should flee when they see you. Now that would be fun.
It's only fun if you get to hear the lamentation of their women as well.

This is a replay to all. How are new players suppose to get good gear if they have no way of beating bronze.
Riiiiight, because we (as players) never had to do the no gear 'ZOMFG its a Banshee with magnetic hands' all up in your business. I can remember day one of Demo, running around like "This is my Predator one, there are many like it, but this one is mine!" and getting butts whooped by a single Phantom.

You're absolutely right, OP. I even had Spectres in this game, and we still wiped when the Brute came after us.
Dammit. Now I want to know the story behind this. Would you be so kind as to elaborate?

It was pretty tough. We even had two GIs and we were still synced by the same Brute.

Maybe Father of Pearl’s point is that we all used to be scrubs at the beginning and perhaps show some more sympathy for those learning the ropes. I used to think the only way to kill an Atlas on bronze was to missile it.

Bronze has always been easy-ish. We were all "new players" with lvl 1 Avengers and equipment at one point.
But not everybody's going to invest 300+ hours into the game.
Then they wont max out their manifest. So what?

Nemeses give pretty good lamentation noises. I'm not sure if Banshee wailing counts as a battle cry or a lament. Nemeses, though, are good for enemy crushing, seeing the enemy driven before you, and hearing the lamentations of their women all in one aerobic instructor package!

I know some of you may want to attack me. But listen ok.
Think of the new players. Oh hey i'm lv 1 with comon lv 1 items. These enemies are too hard. The enemies needs to be nerf so joining players can join the game and have fun.
Some of you are going to say well there be more spamming then. Isn't there already spamming on them now? And even less on silver? People are always going to spam what the easiest in most online games.
If you guys are wondering i know of a few people who haven't touch the online mode. They play the story but not the online. And most of these people like a challage. That means the people I know would go on a gold run if they were property equip for it.
I actually tested this out (as close as I could) not that long ago after someone else made a similar thread.
Promoted a class so that it was level 1 and picked a vanilla kit : Human Infiltrator
Picked a common weapon : Katana
Removed all weapons mods
Equipped no gear or consumables
Started a solo bronze game (Reapers / Giant)
Extracted.
It was painfully slow and I failed my objective to use no consumables at all (2 missiles on an assassination objective and 2 medi-gels after I got careless IIRC).
So yeah, the only thing I had over an N71 first game player was a Katana X and a couple of rockets/gels and I extracted solo. Bronze is easy enough - 2 N71s should be able to walk through it.

As far as bonechill threads go, this is probably the least retarded of them.
