Hey, my first Hawke ever was called Mike Hawke!!Fardreamer wrote...
I'll never understand why people play a game like this and name their characters not-so-clever puns.
Honestly, I'll probably spend 25 minutes thinking of a good immersive name, then get frustrated and just settle for something silly like Mimzy, Frimzy, Zimzee, etc.

If the Inquisitor is badass enough to earn it, he'll be named Revan.

For my first elven male rogue (most likely) playthrough, ill stick to my good old Senjin
For the second one, probably Hagen, an Orlesian blademaster with a heart of gold and mind of Don Quixote.

Because social conventions prevent people from naming actual children these things, so they have to get it out of their system somehow. What better way than by using video games as a way to do it?
Also, it's funny.
On topic, though, I'm going with Fizz. Fizz the Inquis.

David. Force of habit since childhood which I named all characters after myself to track save files. It hurts playing a Zelda game without naming Link... Well, Link.

I'll probably use the random name generator... if there isn't one, I'll just boot up KotOR or something and pick one from there

Euryleia, the amazon name for "Woman Wanderer".
Because there will be A LOT of travelling in DAI, so I suppose it will fit her well

My Male Dwarven warrior will be named Endrin, for the late Endrin Aeducan King of Orzammar, father to the current King Bhelen Aeducan, and father to the Hero of Ferelden. My male Elven rogue(I'm praying he won't be Dalish) will be named Enansal meaning "gift or blessing" in Elven. My male Qunari warrior will be named Kata meaning "death" in Qunlat. As for my male Human Warrior and male Human Mage, it depends entirely on what part of Thedas the human inquisitor is from.

is the inquisitor going to have a last name like Hawk? I liked that about DA2. Being called hawk was better and more personable than people calling me "warden". You can't have total freedom for role play in such an involved game... there has to be balance.

Maybe Vespertine.If I feel serious.
Or Inquisitor Twiggy , If I feel like paying a tribute to my dead cat.
If I can't decide chances are my Inquisitor will end up with the name of a fruit or vegetables.
