Force is the name of a racing family here in the US. For males legendary names like Roland, or Arthur, Merlin for male wizards, my own first name if in the mood, for females Elaine, Cassandra, names like that.

I started Dragon Age II with a Female Hawke, but for Dragon Age Inquisition I fel compelled to start a male named
Monty the Spaniard, BECAUSE
NO ONE EXPECTS THE...
I think it will really depend on how I feel the game goes. I will probably try more Francophone names for future Inquisitors, such a Jeanne, Dominique, Javert, Beatrice, etc...

I usually need an hour or two to come up with a satisfying name. I won't invest that time for this thread. It also depends on the backgrounds set for the different race/class combinations. In some cases, I may go with the default ("Kallian Tabris" sounds nice enough in DAO).
As a rule, I try to come up with names that fit the background culture and the surname, if any, with regard to how they sound, without necessarily meaning anything. Sometimes I also take names from more obscure works of fantasy.
