First of all, this is very shoddy logic. For the simple reason that societies encourging a large population is a vastly different thing from societies claiming sex has no merit except procreation.
Secondly, you should consider what those socieities have in common besides being collectivist and militent.
1) They encouraged sex for the express reason of procreation. The North Koreans, the ****'s, the ChiComs, and the Soviets also believed in not having sex unless it did benefit the state. It wasn't enforced, but it fell along their ideology. Furthermore, the Japanese were conditioned to believe that the main purpose in their life was to serve the Emperor and Japan. Everything they did was expected to be in service to the country.
2) I can consider what they did have in common, and what they differed in. But that wasn't your stipulation David. Your stipulation was in wondering what collectivist and militant nations existed that did discouraged sex beyond procreation. I gave you a list of 5 states that existed that held such perspectives (to varying degrees).
Can you name a modern collectivist an militant state that doesn't hold such perspectives today?
