That is an organic trait. Robots can't get pissed or sad the same way we organics do.

If anything, Harbinger should be shown as brutal and calculating, to fit in with the rest of The Reapers.

I did really enjoy Harbinger, that guy just really seemed to enjoy being evil and existing at the pinnacle of evolution, whether he was assuming direct control or just being plain silly it's nice to see a character take so much delight in doing his job.

Okay my five favorite...

Tough decision for last, between thane and legion, but legion won.
(Thane was a great kick in the nuts to Cerberus, as he proves that aliens can wor well together without ranks, as thane died for the Salarian councillor, and it was Cerberus who killed him, proving that aliens can be equal.)
Legion :Early proof that organic and synthetics can work together. Willing to sacrifice himself for his people, likeable trait
Tali:Great to have a nerd as a friend. And she is really nice.
Javik: great for the story, and he has a lot of information about the previous cycle, and willing to voice his opinion.
Wrex : Wrex.
Garrus: ultimate bromance. If you played the trilogy you should see why, unless you killed him. I honestly found his bromance (as a make romancing Ashley) better than an actual romance with him (my renegade femshep)

I think Harbinger and Soveriegn's personalies should have been switched. Let the vanguard of the Reapers be the evil sadist, and let the oldest be the one above us with nothing but contempt at our existence.

Romanced none because i play only female Shep, and i'm a guy, and i hate dating guy with my female character, and i'm not a fan of lesbomancie either ...
I started with ME2 (rejected Garus), then i bough ME1 to understand everything, rejected Liara, and Kaiden, then i sacrified Kaiden (to be sure he wouldn't try another of his move later hehehe).

When i heard of the upcoming Shadow Broker DLC and how much excited were many Liara's fans to hear that they would continu their romance with her thanks to this DLC, i decided to start a new ME1 character to be ready for it.
If in game it wouldn't have been possible for my fem Shep to have a "normal" family life thanks to Liara being an Asari, i wouldn't have tryed i guess.

Anyway, i enjoy the Liara romance in the ME trilogie and i always chose her eversince, so thanks to the writters involved.

This thread's mode of civility: just listing characters and not discussing them. Interesting.

Anyway, Liara is my favorite character and romance option. Beyond that, most of the squad blurs together into a mass varying degrees of "pretty cool" with the exception of Bridge Largemeat (boring), Ashley (made boring in ME3 if you don't romance her, most regrettably), and Javik (interesting but an unnecessary jerkass).
