I need your help oh bobobo878!
It's been quite the process. At first in my long and arduous quest to get a custom avatar I have tried following crimsoncobra's guide which resulted in characters being uploaded with no picture at all, there are still a few on my page, I deleted most of them.
Then I stumbled across this thread and I thought HUZZAH, finally my prayers have been answered! Alas. I tried it a
bunch of times, at least three times before I realized that my pic's format was still jpeg and not png and that's why they kept being replaced. So I fixed that, now it was a PNG image, same as the creator uses for the default portraits. So I made a new character creatively named 1268, portrait already placed in the pre-release folder and
everything, and clicked the upload button. On the bright side the creator doesn't create a new portrait, I also switched the pic to read-me only. On the down side the character didn't get uploaded at all. It still hasn't. I've tried the same with regular old Dragon Age and the same happens, the portrait doesn't get replaced but the character
doesn't get uploaded either. This isn't a general problem, if I create acharacter normally they get uploaded no prob.
Okay so pic stats:
Name - 1268_portrait
Dimensions - 146*146
File type - PNG image.
Size - 36.7kb
Read-only.
The pic in question:
Suitably resized ofc.
Am I just missing something really obvious here? I'd feel kinda stupid if that's the case but at least I'll have a custom avatar.

Does the profile diagnostic show 1268 among your uploaded characters? It may take a while.

If it is in the profile diagnostic page as Filament suggested, than it should upload eventually, just don't know when. However, you can try to speed up the process by repeatedly refreshing your player profile page.

Hmm, actually I have an error there. Error code 1000 - No characters were found on your online storage. Could that be the issue?

It looks like you have three DAO profiles for some reason, one of which being empty (probably the error code 1000 one). Do either of the other two show 1268?

Three? Da**** did that happen? But no there's nothing in them either. One's empty and one has a failed attempt. Both updated, apparently early yesterday morning. I created a new character just to see if it uploaded yesterday, a bit after the update. I'll see if it pops up later today. Anyone know how I managed to get three profiles? I should probably delete those.
