You convinced me it's the Grey Warden.  First off, he's human, so it's low risk for appealing to newcomers to the series or just returning fans who don't have any ah... unique proclivities.  Plus, the fact that he'll be facing the Calling sooner than later seems like the best potential for drama that isn't forced...  I know zero about any of the other characters, but if I had to pick 2 at this point from those we do know, I'd bet money on Cullen and the Grey Warden.  Dorian just doesn't stand out yet.  Not sure about him.

Doubt it's the grey warden.  Too old and not attractive enough to what most of the female playerbase would consider.

I certainly wouldn't mind it, but that's just what I figure.  Hilariously though, if he's in his mid-late fourties, he's really not all that much older than Cassandra.

He does the voice as Kaine though Raziel gets just as much screen time if not more in the series.  Both of them are absolutely brilliant though, and the dialogue is very shakespearien and play-like in that every line seems to come off as very dramatic.

I can't see Iron Bull either since I don't believe the average female player would be interested in romancing a giant bull guy.  I'd actually place money on Varric before I placed it on Iron Bull or the old grey warden and that's pretty much just because Varric's history in the franchise already.

Same situation as Varric, unfortunately.  IMO, humans, or even elves to some extent, are a safer bet.  There just aren't enough romances to go around.  I forsee Varric and Iron Bull battling for the 3rd slot if we have 3 male LIs.  Otherwise, 2 humans.

Of course, this is even assuming Cullen is in the game.  If he is, there's no way I'd bet against him as an LI.  If not... well, that changes things considerably.

If the choice comes down to Varric and Iron Bull, I'm SO putting in my vote for Varric.  If it were actually to come down to those two, I think the popular dwarf would definitely be a safer bet than the unknown.

Of course, Anders was highly anticipated for DA2 and a lot of those people were immediately turned off by the personality change, and now that I think about it I think it's possible that Varric might undergo a similar change.  I've gotten the impression from what we've seen that he'll be a lot less snarky and amicable and more on the moody and depressive side. 

I hope not, though.  Not that Varric's previous personality would probably be compatible with the poor dwarf being knee-deep in war.
