Ailitar does not have a good personality.

Anders does, though. Don't care if he murders people. He's an attentive lover. Which is a bazillion times more important.

Whether or not Alistair has a good personality is a matter of opinion.  But let's not spend pages rehashing the fact that you're bitter, still, over his refusal to marry you if you didn't make the right choices for that to be possible and the fact you weren't able to beget a child with him.

Yuck. I didn't want THAT... especially since my character was male (I tricked things up with mods). Going on a revenge trip and throwing a hissy and then running off, or dumping the protagonist in front of the whole party was what grated me. Oh, and his decidedly pathetic and amusingly tearless speech at the PC's funeral. -_-

Ah but what we don't know is that he named himself after a beloved childhood toy which he lost in a flood. He searched everywhere for it, travelled to the ends of the earth. He even started a mercenary company in the hopes that, with enough people searching, they will be reunited.

There we go, tragic backstory. Make it happen bioware.:P

Aww...I can almost hear some sad music , and see a child Iron Bull walking in the rain .:crying:
He needs to tell this story with a single tear rolling down his cheek .And lots and lots of rain and sad music.Maybe a bird could land in one of his horns , and start whistling a sad tune.

Varric would understand!  They would totally bond over this and become besties!

There will be 1. His name is Hank, he's a dwarf who doesn't bath much and has an infection of sorts.

I only watched the scenes with a female character on YouTube (hence why I never bothered going through his romance as a female). It was still enough to completely turn me off.

But then I wouldn't have been able to guffaw at ButterflyEffect's recent post about DA2's characters being unable to get over their issues. I mean, that was a lot of lead-up, but the payoff in irony was worth it.

I'm over it. I just kill him at the end.. problem solved. As long as he remains dead and doesn't become a zombie like Leliana, I'm a-okay. ^_^

It's only too bad we can't kill him any sooner. Loghain rocks.

And for the record, it was only with Fenris that that particular thing really bugged me... so I gave him back to Tevinter, because I'm such a proud mage.

In all honesty I would like to have LI's don't fit the "mold" of past DA games. I want something unique and fresh!

I really, really want to see Varric as a romance option. For one we haven't had a Dwarf romance and two he fits the bill of being a caring lover, IMO.

And I would love love love! to see Iron Bull as an LI. Big and muscular, that's how I like  'em. But in all seriousness, I would like to have a Tal-Vashoth nd a Dwarf as LI's because I am weary of blonde human dudes, and elves. Not that I don't like that mind you, it's just that I need something different. And those two would be a breath of fresh air.:D

I will put the Grey Warden as a honorable mention. Because in all fairness he is tall, ripped and ohmygod.

Hell ya!

You and I, we are of the same mind, kadan. B)

What if we were to have Iron Bull AND Grey Warden? I think it would be time for Bioware to invoke the threesome relationship.

*emerges from cave* did somebody SAY THREESOME

I really, really hope Iron Bull is an LI (for both genders if possible). Getting so tired of all these puny elves and humans. Gimme something I can grab;)

Yes and yes! Something I can tap on the booty too.;) And as for the threesome, well, I don't think my Dwarf Inquisitor could handle it. Those two tall men having their naughty way with her... I'll save that for my Qunari Inquisitor.

Oh, I don't doubt that one go with the other but the obsessive part kinda throw me off personally, even in a videogame it seems :P

To be honest, I never finished a romance with Anders, even though he was pretty hot. Romancing Fenris as a mage was much more satisfying for me, in the end.

The cold, dead, hollow way he says "Justice does not approve of my obsession with you. He thinks it will jeaopardize the mission" (walks forward calmly) freaks me out every time. He sounds like a paranoid schizophrenic matter-of-factly informing you that the voice does not like you before he tries to stab you. There is such a thing as "too attentive."

After noticing Iron Bull looks a lot like Domingos Montagner, I need him to be a LI. Since it's something I actually really, really want...It won't happen and we'll get Varric and Cullen instead.

Another game forever alone.

I am so hoping for a Non-Companion LI.

A true army has people called "camp followers" - their jobs and functions are varied.

I'd like a potential LI that basically follows you around from fortress to fortress and isn't necessarily a combatant.

Personally - I like the idea of my PC longing for a simpler life away from the violent duties of his position - and the NPC being the embodiment of that.

I did really like Steve's romance. If they could give me a well-written s/s non companion romance, then I would be all for it.
