No way! Allan/"[Random Fun] What is your (personal) Greatest Hope for DAI" forever!

http://social.biowar...ndex/17226706/1

More on topic however, I do agree that Iron Bull would make for an intriguing LI, as would "This Dorian Fellow" everyone keeps talking about. The great thing about exploring fantastical worlds like Dragon Age is discovering the new, and sometimes alien cultures that reside within it; the Qunari and the Teviter Imperium being two such culutures. While I don't think that boning the inhabitants of a given culture is the best way to learn about it, I do believe a romantic arc has the potential to unveil some rather interesting things about a given culture's attitudes towards the more intimate subjects of love, sex and romance.

Yeah I assumed you were in the know...but in all seriousness, I'd be surprised if every BioWare employee knew every detail about the game to date.
Let not the left hand know what the right hand doeth... if only to keep people from spilling the beans right?

Haha I don't know if it's quite like that. It's more just my day can be busy so I have to actively seek a lot of plot points because they still aren't fully implemented in the actual game, or if they are they are in places I simply don't go.

It's probably a bit less "plausible deniability" or "that way if Allan gets kidnapped he can't spoil everything!"

Although that's still true. If you kidnap me hoping for a tiny morsel of news, you may be waiting a long time! (Until a hero comes to save me naturally.... right? Right!?)

I think Sandal would be more likely to hold you hostage to try to force Bioware to put beards on all of the NPCs.

Well Alitair just dumped you like a piece of garbage, and whined constantly about you doing bad things. Anders, however, stuck by you in the end, no matter what. He also wasn't above doing a lot of morally questionable things (even besides blowing up the Chantry), and didn't criticize Hawke's darker actions so much. So, they weren't entirely the same.

Also, Zevran was a bazillion times more sane and a lot less whingy than Fenris. He was also a much more caring and attentive lover, who, again, stays by the PC's side through thick and thin.

Let me guess you played a Mage, Elf, or dwarf then proclaimed at the landsmeet that you would rule with Alistair and got laughed out the room and dumped. Image IPB

Memories and hallucinations are two different things.
How does his sister setting him up for enslavement again make him a nutjob?

Me thinks someone has issues with getting dumped. I suppose it's okay for a guy to lie to you but heaven help him if he dumps you. Image IPB

Because he was stupid enough to fall for it? Seriously, I think it was pretty fishy from the start. Any intelligent person could see that coming from a mile away.

Somehow I doubt that.  But you must be loads of fun to be around, I must say.  Gods forbid a person might have a bad experience in their background that gives them unpleasant memories to deal with, and which make it difficult for them to be intimate with another person, on any level.

At least Hawke was attentive and genuinely caring towards the guy. That apparently meant nothing to him, though. Three years is a long time.

I know a rape victim in real life. She was raped five years ago, and as far as I can tell, seeing as she doesn't tell me the details of her personal life, she still can't handle any intimacy at all, and can barely stand being near boys who look similar to her rapist.

Three years isn't as long as you might think when it comes to trauma.

Damn! How bad were you for Alistair to dump you then? lol!!

As for Fenris and his sister. Fenris DID know the situation was fishy. Hence him asking for Hawke to come. Something tells me you just don't pay that much attention to the game. Image IPB

Hint: Ask the NPCs questions to gain more insight into what they are thinking.

Also, it takes more than just being caring and attentive. Sometimes you just have to give space when it's needed and have patience. If not. Hook up with someone else and move on.

Hawke didn't sexually assault him, nor does Hawke resemble Denarius in the slightest. Also, it's implied he's been on the run for considerably longer than that. But it's kind of cheap that he'd just sleep with Hawke once and then run off. If he didn't want a relationship, he should have been upfront about it and honest from the beginning.

Hawke didn't have to resemble Denarius. It was the intimacy which Fenris couldn't handle. Fenris clearly wasn't as ready as he thought for that type of relationship. I can hardly fault him for running after all that he has experienced.
