A big, hairy guy. With a full beard, of course. Also I wouldn't mind him being around his 50's. A real bear.
That being said, that Warden fellow looks promising. And I know, it's been said before, but the whole Calling business would make things really interesting for the romance.

Oghren?

Oghren and a lasting relationship? Unheard-of!

So it'd be like Thane all over again, with the additional pain of your LI going crazy on you. I know the writers feed off the fandom's tears but I don't think there's enough room in all the wine cellars of Europe to store haul they'd be getting from that particular storyline.

I have to admit I forgot about Thane. Anyhow, even if they went for a similar storyline, the calling would have to happen during the game for it to work. Chances are we are not going to see the Inquisitor ever again, and I believe he/she should be there to see the warden onto his calling.

Oh, and count me into Mustacio's club, as number 7.

I'm going to hope that this statement basically rules him out as an LI, then. Sorry, all you Cole lovers out there.

I think Dulas beat you to number 7 by a hair. But hey, 8 being the magic number and all, I'd say you lucked out.

I hate facial hair. >< One of the many appeals of elven men is they don't have any.

I hope everybody knows I'm talking about male inquisitor romance options, so I mean what females are available.

Well, it's more than likely there will be Male Romance options for the Male Inquisitor too.

Edit: But to answer the original question, I'm pulling for Cassandra.

mayhap you would have better luck if you rephrased the thread title to "romance option for male inquisitors"

also what hotdogbsg said

Mr Schumacher was just trolling on here a few days ago, pretending not to know who Dorian is. We still have no confirmation either way.

To be even more specific, you mean what romance options are available for straight guy playthroughs, since of course plenty of male gamers will want to romance male companions, and females won't be available just for male gamers.  But I'm just being pedantic.

Thread drift is going to happen.  It's natural for people to start discussing the LIs in general.  But, even though the phrase "male inquisitor romance options," is technically ambitious, most times it's meant as "men you can romance," and that's how it's naturally going to be taken.  It's certainly the more obvious, straightforward meaning.

Of course, you did spell it out in your OP, but I know I managed to miss the clarification the first time I read it.  Or, a lot of people just plain aren't reading the OP at all, lol.  But yeah, you should probably change the title to say "Who are going to be the female romance options," if that's what you actually want to discuss, because your OP title specifies exactly the opposite.  You'd be better off changing it than coming into the thread to post that people are talking about the OP wrong.

Meh.  Talking about the male LI companions is the expected response to the standing OP question, so the whoops is on KC_prototype for a misleading title, and for not just changing it rather than complaining several times in-thread that we're all off-topic.

Then again, most people would probably still just spend the time debating which beards to romance.:pinched:

LOL.  Of course I have; when did I say otherwise?  :)

I still say that Varric would make a great LI.  I'm not sure it's a likelihood since we've never had a dwarven LI before, and I'm sure it might be a tad awkward to romance him as a human Inquisitor, but damnit, we could romance any LI in Origins as a dwarf, so why not?!

Of course I would bet money that Varric's personality is a bit darker for Inquisition, so if he were to be an LI I'd probably still go for him, but the whole reason I want Varric as one is because his personality in DA2 was awesome.

Cheap and easy, too, it seems.  All the man's gotta do to make people flip right the **** out and start spreading rumors is to say "who?"

Lotta power in that one tiny little word.  Maybe he's powering it with blood magic.:alien:

While I personally see Varric as more of a brother character to my Hawke and Inquisitor, I certainly wouldn't mind having him become an LI in the DAI. Especially if someone romanced him as a big Qunari.:P
In some respects, I believe he got some measure of closure in the comics regarding Bianca. Perhaps his quest would deal with shutting that door forever, and I would really like to see how that would work in conjunction with a romance. I think Bioware could pull that off very well.

Just more incentive for people to play non-human Inquisitors... Image IPB

Kind of reminds me of Anders from DA:A to DA2. I hope the writers don't go that route again. Image IPB

Nah.  I don't think we should punish all of Bioware for Allan's choice to do evil.  Might consider sending him to Aeonar, though.
