I have to admit I am not as fond of Sera, but I really want to give her a chance, especially since we know so little about any of them. Her blurb, which was just that, a blurb, seemed more flat than the others but hard to tell. Possible unknown female Mage could be there instead, and I do just realize, not only with the 6 LIs are there 2 of each, but one of each class.

Looking at that one image we have of (presumably) her in the bar, making a fisting joke, I feel like I've already got a pretty decent grasp of her personality (it's why I love the image so much, there's just so much character in that one little scene), and while the blurb does fit the impression I'm getting from the image, I don't know if it really does her justice.

Female Protag LIs:
Vivienne (lesbian)
Cassandra (bi)
Varric (straight)

or if we have 4 bisexual romances... Cassandra, Dorian, Varric, and probably sera (hopefully Vivienne!)

Unfortunately this leaves out the very real possiblity that Cullen is in this, and romanceable. I suspect he'd take Varric place, quite a depressing loss.

Yes you left out Cullen. What about the grey warden that is supposedly a party member. Either there are more unidentified female party members or some of the males mentioned aren't party members. Gaider supposedly hinted that not all party members will be romancible while the ones you can romance will be a lot more discerning and particular about who they agree to romance. Worse than the Cooking Channels Come Date with Me. Rotfl.

I think that Cassandra has a possibility to be a lesbian, bi, or straight LI.. But for me there is little doubt that she is one. But you know I really doubt that The Bull is or Varric. I thought that Varric had some sort of lady somewhere. I know that he denies Hawkes advances.

Sera(bi), Cassandra(lesbian/bi),Vivienne (Straight) with Leliana as a unromanceable female.

Actually, that's just my preference. 

Nooo!! I really hope not. I do want to know more about Vivienne. I think she is a wild card at this point. I see Cassandra as a character similar to Leliana. 

Super excited to learn more and see more about the companions.

And for said yet to be announced and totally speculative female dwarf companion to be voiced by Jennifer Hale or Katee Sackhoff :happy:.  Would also lke there to be an NPC LI option like Traynor from ME3 but like I said this is just my guess/wishful thinking.

I hated Traynor and Kelly! I wouldn't mind someone like The Consort from ME 1. Considering it has been done before like Isabella in DA:O.

Re: Varric, no, per the comics.  We learn more about his crossbow's namesake, among them being his decision to finally move on.

Really? Besides the religious adherence, they are nothing alike.

They are both foreigners, religious yet will be violent when they have to.

Leliana is at first embarrassed by your advances and has a sweet charm about her. I could picture Cassandra that way but more wrapped up in the chaos going on around them.

What's disapointing about it? Despite this being a rather hot button topic, people have remained fairly civil about the whole thing. A few people have misunderstood the OP's intial intent, but conversation had carried along alright and his initial question is being addressed at a reasonable frequency. We've had some good chuckles with the Bioware execs, and while there's been a bit of shallowness when discussing the various LIs there's also be a fair amount of interesting character discussion. Looks like a pretty good thread to me, given the subject material.

while he was in the leaked gameplay, having him and the grey warden, and Cassandra, and Iron bull would be too many warriors. Since we have more evidence of them, I left him out. And I did mention the grey Warden, saying he is probably too old to be a bioware romance.

Actually.. who i suspect to be companions..

Warriors:
Cullen, Twohander.
The Bull, Sheild Warrior (Shown in concept art with a sheild)
Cassandra, Sheild Warrior

Mages:
Vivinne, Damger
Elf guy
Mustache guy
(I think two will have the capacity to heal.)

Rouges:
Varric, Crossbow Archer
Sera, Bow Archer/Daggers
Leliana, Bow Archer

It makes sense to have 3 of each. It is also nice to think that you will have a bit more choice with your healers and tanks.

This is all speculation of course.
