Think Leliana will be loyal to the Warden and will put a stop to any flirtations that you may throw at her?

The Warden is dead.

Leliana will be romanceable.

This time the dead BioWare spouse is you.

Book it.  Done.

older men should also be an option this time, i am tired of whiny boys like alistair, fenris & anders.
time for mature men with preferably chiseled physiques and chest hair.

Trouble is those types know they can do better than a clingy, codependent protagonist. Alistair on the other hand can't believe a girl is even talking to him.

yes! I was so devestated that you couldn't romance Duncan/Gregoir, they were way more appealing than Alistair/Zevran :crying:

Well now I'm picturing a Qunari boy band doing a mashup of "I'm too sexy" and "You can't touch this".
With parachute pants , no shirt , and war paints made of glitters of course.

I don't want to live in a world where Iron Bull isn't violently opposed to sharing.

well it seems like to BSN, anyone who has unresolved emotional or circumstantial issues is labeled 'immature' or 'whiny' so uh

Probably has to do with the fact that age is not necessarily a mark of maturity.  Whininess is not a trait reserved for the young, and maturity is not one reserved solely for the elderly.

I almost hope that we DO get an older man as an LI now, and that he is insecure and bitter and cynical beyond measure, if only to prove the point that older men can be just as broken as young ones.

But maybe that's because I bristle at the way characters with legitimate psychological problems stemming from abuse are dismissed as whiners.  Alistair and Fenris were well-written and deserve better than such blase dismissal.

More like about two feet away.  What's weird about that exchange is that nobody else in the scene reacts to it.

that happens allot, like using bloodmagic constantly in front of party members who are staunchly opposed to it and never hearing any opposition when you use it.  :P

I agree. No one seems to think the Warden is whiny when they get to "whine" about being an oppressed Dalish Elf or City Elf, or about their entire family being killed, or life at the Circle of Magi etc. It's only when it's other characters "whining" that they become "whiners".

I admit that I think Alistair could have possibly been written a bit better, never could understand his thing with Duncan. But Fenris suffered major abuse, but because he suffered at the hands of those some people have already decided are oppressed then he's just a whiner who needs to be sold back into slavery because by daring to express his opinion he is hindering Hawke's fight against oppression. And with me, I see Alistair's fixation on Duncan as natural enough that I don't understand why someone would not undrstand it.  The poor guy had it hammered into him his entire life that he was worthless, and he was never once made to feel as if his own opinions mattered.  He says that Duncan was the first person who ever cared about what he wanted.  I suspect that Duncan wasn't quite so altruisitic as that, but I can see how Alistair would arrive at that conclusion.  He's just so starved for validation, and he got it from Duncan; small wonder he sees the man as a father figure.

I don't think people who dismiss Fenris as a whiner do so because they somehow think the Magisters are oppressed, I think it's mostly just a complete lack of empathy, personally.

That's exactly the problem. He only cares about getting what he wants.

And Fenris generalizes all mages. The end.

Seriously, power to the Tevinter Magisters. They rock my socks! :wizard:

Proportions don't look right. The height difference between dwarf and Qunari is more than that.

I've seen a few people concerned about their LI's being un faithful or cheating on you as the inquisitor and well I can guarantee you that both will not happen according to Gaider, whatever your active romance is it will remain active no matter what and if you don't want that then just don't have an active LI in your world state.

Morrigan will not be romancable since that was confirmed at Edmonton expo, also I doubt that Leliana will be a companion or an romancable npc.

As for LI's unlikely to be more than 4 companion ones and not all bi.

Cullen companion or npc straight female
Cassandra companion Straight male
Vivienne or Sera BI
Bald Elf Mage BI

Npc's could include Iron Bull if he is not a companion
