The post AngryWolves made may have been going under the assumption that volunteer moderators get paid for their services. As far as I know, they don't.

Well, to be clear my time on the forums is mostly because I enjoy interacting. When I go all moderator it's mostly because I have a feeling of "something must be done" for a particular situation.

As far as romance options go, pretty much anything besides the archetypes we've seen before...unless it involves Morinth. If they somehow made a Morinth 2.0, I would probably be cool with that. XD

Is this a request for a romance that basically just goes south and ends up poorly for the PC? Because I'm totally okay with that <.<

I was thinking more in terms of personality than the endgame itself XD. Part of the allure for morinth(besides the whole vampire in space thing) was gameplay related as well, since it seemed more challenging at the time in terms of conversational paths. If you weren't paying attention to her interests, an attempted murder by Snu-Snu wouldn't happen. Then again, morrigan may be the closest equivalent to morinth, though she's a tad brattier.

As far as dragon age characters, I wouldn't mind seeing someone similar to Avelline again, The Dragon Age equivalent of GoT's Brienne seemed to work well enough.

I think I would really enjoy that, actually.  I'm thinking of something that actually came out of left field for the PC, unlike Anders which practically beat you over the head with his being up to something dire.  Something that would make a player have to leave the computer and go stare at the wall for a bit, going from:mellow: to  to  to :pinched: to  and back again to  before they finally recovered enough to play again.

You're saying that when Morinth, the psycho-sexual murderer, hits on your PC and then murders them, this is out of left field?

Well I'm picky when it comes to romance.
There are some companions I just can't romance .
I tried to romance Leliana then she went all "I'm watching you sleep , and I'd like to collect your eyelashes in a jar!" .I was scared.
I tried to romance Anders but then he went all "I will drown this world in blood just to be with you!".
I felt the urge to back away slowly.
I tried to romance Zevran but then he went all "I enjoy killing.Ah the thrill of the hunt."I had a flashback of Hannibal Lecter.
I tried to romance Merrill but then she burst "OMG I LOVE you SO MUCH!".And I felt a guilt trip incoming.

I'm thinking about a forever alone Inquisitor right now ...
Even with Varric , I can imagine things getting awkward pretty fast with Bianca. And I mean the crossbow.I don't mind sharing , but what if he actually cuddle his weapon like it's some kind of teddy bear.I won't be able to unsee that!

And don't get me started with the Iron Bull ,it seems he likes killing , drinking and pillaging.
Inquisitor hug the Iron Bull , touch something strange "Hey wha's that" "Huh?Oh it's just the entrails of my last victim , LOL" ..."I should go."

More out of left field that Shep is crazy enough to go for it.

I liked that they allowed the player to do that, despite it being so overly telegraphed that it would be bad! Hahaha.

Meh, the dialogue was cringe-worthy. I just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible.

If Cassandra is gonna be awkward when talking about romance in general, she needs to be an LI :P

Shame. I find shortness hot.

I'm okay with shortness, doesn't have major negative effects on my interest. Were I born female or otherwise interested in males, Varric would definitely be up there on my list.

And the good times when you feel like Breaking up with the obsessive LI.
I wish we could just...leave them in the middle of the desert , really.
Like "I know a fun game , it's called Hide and Seek, hey Iron Bull ,you go count!"
Weeks later , and after looking under every rocks the Tal Vashoth realize something is very wrong."Oh I will kill him/her"
Meanwhile in Val Royaux , the Inquisitor is still laughing to tears.

So much potential for drama , there.

I was joking about Schumacher. I didn't think he got paid for moderating . Of course I think the BSN needs a paid moderator , but that's another topic.
Well the companions are going to be a lot pickier romancing this time. Harder to get. Not interested in iron bull or varric for romances .
I would like npc romances , that option if you can't have one or don't want one with a companion . Someone for the Inquisitor to come home to , get a back rub, get asked about your day, eat supper with your beloved away from keeps, bloody armor/weapons and annoying companions who will vocally criticize yor decisions . Marriage ? Children ?
Maybe in some future DA. shrugs.

Isn't it a bit too early to ask about romances? There are hardly a few characters made known and people might get shut down harder when they tried to romance Specialist Traynor with a Male Sheppard

They've been talking about it since the game was announced. There was a vicious war on the BSN between the romance lovers and the haters. People are passionate about it. shrugs.

Romances are beautiful, and more gaming companies should embrace them, damnit. They greatly enrich the whole story.

I know nothing at all about that, no, never having played it.  I was just saying I wouldn't mind a romance with an LI that went badly in a horrific way, so long as it wasn't something so obvious that the only explanation for your character not seeing what was happening was their having been hit with the stupid stick.

I agree!! Chances are if you watch a good adventure movie.. (For example a summer blockbuster or fantasy story,) most times you will find a romance is involved. It is an easy way to show that the hero has something to fight for and a stake in making the world right.

For me it's very importantl for role playing. I don't want to be a person with nothing to lose... I like feeling like my character has everything to lose.

Bald women can be beautiful . Persis Khambatta ?The bald young woman in the first Star Trek movie. Sinead O' Connor. A long time ago.
So a bald woman can be beautiful, sexy, and attractive imo.

true that. Liara's romance has caused problems for Bioware imo. It was so well done. ME players who preferred other romances seem to resent their character's romance with Shepherd got short changed, isn't as good. DA romances have obviously been inferior . The Liara romance has become the benchmark by which other Bioware romances will be judged, and that's unfortunate for future Bioware romances like ME4 and the secret new IP they're working on, assuming it has romances . A tough nut to follow . ROTFL. Funny.
