Safe, but boring. Still, if it gets the job done; I'll take that over an incompetent team any day.
The question should be: why do people use Harriers? Personally I use the Saber. Why aren't there different weapons on the TGI? Why only the Harrier?

For most people, using the TGI is basically a risk-averse decision. It gives the best possible chance of extracting successfully. Given that, it makes sense to pair it with the risk-averse decision when it comes to guns, which is the Harrier.

You're right on the money. I admit that I did my gold solos with the TGI. But I have to disagree with the Harrier being the best choice for a weapon. It's a good all-rounder, yes, and can be slapped on any kit without failing.
But it lacks ammo capacity (and most people I've seen are so unwilling to use thermal clip packs - I've seen people start riots when I've happily and quietly used my thermal clip packs without a qualm).
Still, if you don't take risks; you don't gain anything! It's like always sticking with vanilla ice cream or ready-salted crisps when there are so many amazing flavours out there!

Of course. But if you're taking risks, you might as well use some other class besides the TGI.

True dat. But who takes risks in this game anymore? Once you find that comfy spot, it's difficult to migrate...

That's funny, because I'm trying to complete by TGI waves for the CPs, and I hate it when other people steal MY grenades. It's like they're hoping I'll die. I can just see those 'nade spammers with huge ****-eating grins on their faces as they take all the grenades.Cirvante wrote...

Of course, I agree with you when I'm the one trying to spam 'nades.:innocent:

Harrier TGIs are boring, but abundant. I expect them to do well. I expect them to be invincible, but I do understand when they occasionally get killed because the stim-pack button goes in a second too late (happens to the best). Blame EA servers or the fact that you need a new controller because your buttons are sticking/out of alignment.

Because AR bonus and the Harrier is the best AR . If you are spamming Stim packs you are going to be hitting ammo boxes anyway so ammo not such an issue.
Don't play the kit often but prefer to go with the Lancer or Typhoon when I do

Still assumes a lack of selfish people (that'll be the day!), not to mention the RNG store being generous (again, I'd rather believe Three Dog when he talks about green trees [Oasis] in Fallout 3 - no matter how much Jet he's been on). Actually, that's a bad analogy because he's right all along.
The hard truths of life: expect people to be selfish. Always be prepared to use all your equipment because others won't readily use theirs. Expect a lack of URs, in which case the Mattock and Krysae (to name but a couple) are good on the TGI - you must learn to adapt to any situation.

But watching people suck with a noob kit like the TGI... it makes me sad and annoyed. And them i think how bad they would be with a trickier kit. Eww.
