Harrier TGIs are boring, but abundant. I expect them to do well. I expect them to be invincible, but I do understand when they occasionally get killed because the stim-pack button goes in a second too late (happens to the best). Blame EA servers or the fact that you need a new controller because your buttons are sticking/out of alignment.

Safe, but boring. Still, if it gets the job done; I'll take that over an incompetent team any day.

The question should be: why do people use Harriers? Personally I use the Saber. Why aren't there different weapons on the TGI? Why only the Harrier?

If I TGI on gold, then I'm going to be using weaker AR's since he makes them much better. My favorites on him are the Collector Rifle, Phaeston, Revenant, Saber (not that it's weak, I just suck at consistent headshots) and Vindicator.


If I'm feeling lazy, then Carrier TGI is my plat crutch, otherwise I rely on my beloved Raider GI to get me through plat.

I don't like TGI's because they take my grenades, most often bring Harriers, and missile on extraction. This might not be universal but it's something I've noticed in my games.

I like playing with anyone who is not leeching, as long as they're helping with the game, it's all good. Character choice means nothing, I never look at what characters others are using, I don't get this whole thing about not wanting to play alongside certain characters or classes, it's extremely whiny. Why should it matter what character another person is using? Let him enjoy the game. BSN loves to whine and moan about anything and everything.

I couldn't care less what other people play, however I am slightly surprised when I see what look like experienced players for whatever difficulty level breaking out the TGI/harrier combo. Perhaps they just had a bad game before, what do I know?

Glad someone has mentioned the Collector AR, works well with the TGI as an alternative to the Harrier. Much more ammo and nice accuracy/low-recoil for headshots. Seems to apply ammo effects well too, for detonation with overload. TGI's ridiculous damage bonuses overcome the major problem with the CAR.

Why is it surprising to see someone using a powerful, enjoyable character? Why would you be thinking that they may have had a bad game before? I'm just curious.

^Alright, I'm bored. The TGI/Harrier combo is a mindless, boring way to play, unless you spec out of Stim Packs. A player of a high rank/CP/whatever using that combo immediately comes across as unskilled, which is more often than not the case.

That's funny, because I'm trying to complete by TGI waves for the CPs, and I hate it when other people steal MY grenades. It's like they're hoping I'll die. I can just see those 'nade spammers with huge ****-eating grins on their faces as they take all the grenades.

Of course, I agree with you when I'm the one trying to spam 'nades.:innocent:

I am a Drell and I am offended by being labeled a "grenade spammer". I prefer the term "explosion enthusiast".

As far as they don't use it on a biotic oriented team, I don't care.

But to be honest, it's a long time I haven't seen a good TGI player! They made a decent score but they don't outscore me or my friends as one MP retired friend done! With the same build, we never reached his score!

He's ok if you don't mind having God on your team ( joking ) !

After the last 3 PUG games I played I wished I had him as a kit. It's not easy to solo 3-4 waves per game on Condor( yes, I am a masochist) . What I noticed is that when you have 2 or 3 TGIs in a game it gets ridiculously easy and you don't get to shoot much at enemies unless you stay away from them. If I play him on Gold and below I take a crappy assault rifle to balance his awesomeness.

I like playing the TGI with any decent gun - I can go anywhere, kill anyone I want, and res others at will, as well as carry the game if need be.

TGI running around with a Typhoon setup is just so much fun! Whats worse than a Turian with a Typhoon? An invisible one, of course!

Was in a game with a Locust/TGI yesterday ... who basically never used cloak.

To be fair, he didn't do too badly but watching him vs an Atlas after my Charge > BroFist to a Phantom resulted in an instant synch-kill (I should have learnt by now not to BatGuard off-host) was kinda painful ... Overload > dikkadikkadikka > Overload > dikkkadikkadikka ... forever.

Doesn't particularly bother me. If they TGI it up then who cares. In the end score doesn't matter anyways so what is the point of ****ing about OP characters? It makes the game go faster which causes more credits to be handed out (which is the goal for you guys I am guessing).

Stim packs are for scrubs who can't stay alive without. I spec out of them on my TGI (and he's still boring).

A great farming class. You rarely use consumables. Play what you like and have fun.

And are you sure they didn't get disconnected? Weird someone would leave while winning unless IRL stuff came up.

Exactly the same goes for TGI users. Playing as the TGI is neither easy mode, nor is it boring for them.
