Do you like playing with Turian GI's?

As for whether I like playing with them...sure, why not? Anything is better than yet another match with multiple Juggernauts. Note to PUGs...more than one Juggy is pointless and slows the match to a crawl. If someone is already a Juggy in the lobby, PLEASE switch to something else.

LOL People blast TGI players for boring 'easy mode' and promptly ready up their GI's
Playing as a TGI without heal pads is not boring or easy. In other threads when the GI comes up and the fact that Hunter mode nerfs your shields most people talk about using cyclonics almost all the time.
It's amazing the number of people that turn up their noses at powerful classes like the TGI or the Edibot and then promptly grab their trusty old GI that is just as cheesy easy if you do use cyclonics because of the damage out put.

Agree 100%.
Geth have fast shield regen as well which is particularly useful, fitness to rank5 and shield power cells FTW.
Compare geth with low health and high shields and ability to see through walls to drell with normal health and low shields and tell me which one is more survivable for a new player. Oh and GI has cloak too, so in what way is it difficult to stay alive with him?

The question should be: why do people use Harriers? Personally I use the Saber. Why aren't there different weapons on the TGI? Why only the Harrier?

I don't particularly mind playing along side one.
If you were hosting, a possibility is that your host is bad and people quit/dc because of it.AJ2324 wrote...
Man...so just played as a TGI and my entire squad left by the end....wtf. I was 40 points above the second person but we were doing well as a team. I actually delivered the pizza twice myself even. Maybe I just need to play with more skilled players like you guys...

That's funny, because I'm trying to complete by TGI waves for the CPs, and I hate it when other people steal MY grenades. It's like they're hoping I'll die. I can just see those 'nade spammers with huge ****-eating grins on their faces as they take all the grenades.Cirvante wrote...

Of course, I agree with you when I'm the one trying to spam 'nades.:innocent:

It has a damage bonus too. You are aware of that, right?
I guess I've been playing the game wrong, using the all powers that the classes have. I'm glad I know now that certain powers are reducing my fun and making things boring for me. Here I was thinking that I was having fun playing a TGI, but you've set me straight now.

I don't mind but restricting yourself to one kit gets boring.
This. Any kit is fun to play once in a while.

With that said, we all have our favorite kits that we default to. Lately, I've been on a QME kick. Before that was the Volus Adept, Drell Adept, Human Soldier, etc. If a player happens to be on a TGI kick, so be it. I really don't care what a player goes in with, as long as they use the character appropriately. ie) Don't sit in a corner and hold melee with the Puggernaut. Don't spam shield boost every single second, never firing your weapon... etc.
I guess to answer your question, I don't care what anyone uses, as long as they play wisely and don't expect everyone else to do the work for them.

I couldn't care less what other people play, however I am slightly surprised when I see what look like experienced players for whatever difficulty level breaking out the TGI/harrier combo. Perhaps they just had a bad game before, what do I know?
.
If I'm low (or none) on gels got no credits I'll pull out the the TGI (or puggernaut) and stim pack the burden issues away for a game or two then replenish accordingly with the ill gotten gains - jumbos slurp

It is, at least for me. He has 1238 shields with full fitness. My sexbot has 1163. That's a lot of shields, especially for an infiltrator who can dump aggro on his teammates.Beerfish wrote...

My GI has 675 shields without a cyclonic. Playing him that way keeps things interesting.
Speccing into fitness rank 5 on a GI means you're doing something wrong.Reviving wrote...
