Sentinel is more versatile and has fun with both tech and biotics.  Cryo blast + throw = win.

Vanguard gets to charge around and stuff.

I like both

I thought vanguard was difficult though because if you tied your Charge+Nove wrong you'd get screwed? But yeah I'm kind of leaning towards Vanguard might have to put the game on Casual though.

NovaGuard is super powerful (and in my opinion boring), with +200% recharge speed Biotic Charge has an sec cooldown and although Nova depletes your shields it does give you like a 1.5 sec invincibility frame (when Shepard does the battle shout). If you basically charge, combat roll, nova, charge, etc. you'll never die. Personally I make a shotgun vanguard with Lash as a bonus power, then use Pull/Lash to rapidly set up and detonate biotic combos (they each have a 1 sec cooldown). Then use Charge and Shotgun to take care of the big stuff. This build has two ways to kill things very effectively and it never gets dull.

Sentinel has a really gimmicky set-up. If you use Tech Armor with Fortification and spec them both for max damage resistance Shepard get like a 90% damage resist, which allows you to run up to enemies and beat them to death with melee attacks without firing a gun, and survive even on Insanity!

XD they're not so bad. Though shockwave needs a boost in damage or something.

Only reason I used shockwave in ME2 was husk bowling ball. ME3 I could use it sure but why would I when there was throw and pull...

I use it only when I was surrounded my cannibals or husks.  Occasionally I'd just use it unknowingly.  But there's a reason I use Reave as a bonus power...

Yeah but you can get double throw with a ridculous CD time and it's easier for me to just spam that if I'm surronded. (Then again when I was using adepts I had the +200% CD time because I'm a warp bomb fiend).

Meh I'm usually lazy enough to not bother with ammo powers (either that or I piggy back on a squaddies).

Unless I'm playing inf. Then maxed out cryo and disrupter ftw.

I totally started playing it because of cloak. Makes that stupid annoying as hell fight against brute horde so much less annoying *cloaks* Bye ****es! *hits hammer* *Sees brute charging runs away and cloaks again*

I mean screw that fight as an adept. I got gangbanged by 4 brutes

Ahh thats why when you play a sentinel you get Javik and spam biotic detonations. or as a vanguard just charge around like Speedy Gonzales

Maybe not all the Quarians.

But after...adjusting the Geth's priorities for the greater good, the likes of Admiral Xen and her scientific staff would be too dangerous to allow to live.
