GI already has an accuracy bonus, especially with the Claymore you can easily snipe. It's actually a bit ridiculous that it hits things across the map. Either way, I like to play CQC with the GI.

For the QFI, I use her with a Javelin. Drop Rank 6 of Fitness and put three points in either Sticky Grenades or sabotage, whichever you find yourself using less.

For the QMI, either skip Tac Scan and go for a sniper rifle like the BW, or go 4/4/6/6/6 and spam grenades from cloak.

yeah, but coupled with the smart choke it gets better. just try it.

I have, and I never use the Piranha without one, for example. On the Claymore, I'd rather have the spare ammo. :D

Recharge speed is irrelevant since you'll mostly be casting it while cloaked.

If you want something slightly suboptimal, but fun, try a kishock with disruptor ammo on the FQI.

Her sabotage makes it useable in high-latency games, since a staggered mook isn't going to dodge the harpoon, and the lack of a hip-fire penalty is useful when adding TB's to her sticky grenades with disruptor ammo.

Sub-optimal, but useful if you want to use the kishock off-host and lag's a problem.

It's also possible to make a good melee build with her, since sabotage boost's melee damage, but I've never tried it myself, so I can't testify to it's effectiveness.

Javelin build is probably the most effective though, or crusader if you don't want a sniper rifle on her.

I snipe with him using the Crusader.  Stun all the things with arc nades then finish them all off in four shots.

I think I'll use the Kishock Harpoon Gun on her. :)

Incendiary would be better against armour, and the incindiary Dot seems fitting to partner to the harpoon's inbuilt Dot, and the FE's are nice too.

But I'm loath to recommend it because so many kit configurations can make better use of the incindiary ammo, so it's easy to run out, whilst it's rare to run out of disruptor ammo.

Just to be clear, the sticky grenades behave like scorpion pistol shots, priming a TB/FE/CE when they hit the target directly, then they detonate the ammo prime when the grenade goes off.

That's why disruptor or incindiary ammo is often reccomended on kits that use sticky grenades, it's a free explosion with each grenade  (6+1 explosion, I think).

The TB primes from her sabotage aren't of much use, unfortunately, but the tech debuff and stagger are great.

So you're saying if I hit them directly I will get a Fire Explosion automatically, but if I use Sabotage and throw a Sticky Grenade indirectly I will get a Tech Burst?

Yeah, peddroelmz's threads have that effect the first time you see them.:blink:

TLDR version:
The ammo consumable's bonus gets added as an ammo effect by sticky grenades as if the grenade was a bullet fired from the gun in question, and it counts as an ammo prime for explosions too.

The strength of a single pellet fired from your equiped weapon determines how much bonus damage is added.

Multi-pellet shotguns reduce the free damage (you only get 1/8th damage due to 8 pellets), as does hipfire damage penalties if you don't scope in while holding a sniper rifle.

Since kishock has no hipfire penalty, this isn't an issue though.

The actual bonus damage from the ammo isn't all that big though, it's the ammo primes that are more useful.

OT: if you spec you inflitrators right, then you can use a varity of weapons with one build. For example I can Spec the GI to be able to get the most out of Sniper riffles and weapons such as hurricane, talon, typhoon harrier, etc. The best way to do this is to skip fitness. The best feel is when you clock and go straight up to a phantom and blast her head off. 

The huntress is a nice character- always cloack and fire DC, same for warp. You can multi task with her.

I was thinking the same thing but I am guessing that with N7100 that most of those hours have been spent playing 1 or 2 kits. Still impressive

Always take Damage on Energy Drain. This allows you to use AP/Incendiary/Drill Ammo and still not worry about Shield Gate.
