I'm fascinated by the creativity of this video, by the way I've been meaning to replace my oldscreen so I don't need anymore convincing about buying new TV but this won takes the cake. I think I'm wanting this one more than anything these days www.youtube.com/watch

That is certainly a great ad, but a projector doesn't beat a TV (yet anyway).
To get a full HD (1080p) projector with the full colour spectrum and enough brightness, and refreshrate to compare to any decent TV you have to put down some real money and they only work with a decent projecting wall and in dark environments, compared to an average TV that will work everywhere.
And if you want quality to compete with good TVs, that works in various lighting environments (aka bright enough without sacrificing colour contrast) and more than 60Hz refreshrate, you really have to sacrifice your firstborn when it comes to paying for those suckers. And you'd still need a projecting wall.
Definately cool tech right there, but not yet mass feasible in its current stage in a quality that people are accustomed to.
