I was taking him around to pee on all the landmarks for the Dominance Quest, and I must say he is bad ass. Shred, Dread Howl, and Charge are all great. Don't have overwhelm yet. He is truly a viable option. Hits for like 40 or so, plus hasted he attacks so fast and just takes people down. Don't know why I am so late to the party. I won't always bring him, but I never really used him on any of my other games so I figured I'd give the boy a try.

I have no clue what quest this is, must investigate further. Was wondering what those landmarks were all about

Its not a quest, but it's a pretty cool thing for Dog. As long as you've marked those landmarks with Dog, he'll get bonuses to his stats (and skills i think) as long as he's in the vicinity.

Yeah I shouldn't have said quest, more like what ReubenLiew said, it just makes Dog better when fighting near those landmarks. But hey, they are there so might as well pee on them right!
