Did you reinstall both games? If yes, perhaps you forgot to re-download and install DLC's too.

So I was all fired up to get home, start a new explosives/unarmed Courier lass...and I didn't. Instead, I continued with my typical gun-toting silver tongued angel of death. I'm so utterly predictable.
We went to Vault 22, to rescue Keely, and I'd forgotten just how creepy that place is. Those spore brutes and savages scared the crap out of me, every time they rose up out from the foliage. I could see them, and knew they were there, but dang it if I didn't literally jump out of my seat every time. And the whispering. What the heck was that? It made such a creepy atmosphere.
Oh, and I got the Penthouse Suite at the Lucky 38. Thank goodness, somewhere to stash my crap. I have a room at the Atomic Wrangler, and at the hotel in Novak, but do those really count?
In other news, my husband is still playing Fallout 3, and his big plans for the night (last night), were to hit the Super Duper Mart outside of Megaton. And find a follower. He was quite disheartened to find that there are only a couple for Good affinity, and they are far from where he's been on the map. It is a good point. I think Dogmeat is probably the closest one to the starting point, so you spend quite a bit of time alone, until you finally recruit one.

That game was not that bad for an indie developed by 5 Slovakians. Only thing that really sucked was the economics/trading.Seagloom wrote...
It's nowhere near a truly crap RPG like say, GODS: Land of Infinity.
I actually still have it installed on my hard drive.

Hey, it happens. I did the same thing days ago by going back to unarmed. It's hard to break out of one's comfort zone. Think the only reason I made it through an entire game with guns was a combination of experiencing everything for the first time, and not trusting close range combat as a viable alternative. I had to do a lot of reading elsewhere before I was convinced to give unarmed/melee a go in these games. The older titles didn't give me that doubt since they were turn based.
Storage wise, I prefer Novac. It's close to where you're dropped after fast traveling. The Lucky 38 makes sense in-character, but I hate having to run up to the suite. It's too time consuming. XD There is an even better home after you finish Old World Blues. Best part is you can get there from anywhere in the Wasteland even when you're encumbered.

No, it happened when I moved to my hall, once I had no internet and got it back, this message started to appear.

Your marido could always 'cheat' and acquire a neutral or evil follower by temporarily changing his karma, although Fawkes eventually makes up for it once you make it that far.

Then perhaps it's a glitch?
Cause, doesn't XBOX 360 support offline features?

If I uninstalled the dlc and reinstalled it, will I be able to go back to my save that is in Point Lookout? If I load it now, I just get sent back to the wasteland.

I think with the room in Novak, I wasn't sure if I would get to keep it. I didn't trust whether or not my stuff would just disappear after a time, or if it would be safe...and I was too lazy to look it up.
@LobselVith - Yeah, I looked up the companions info on the wiki for him, and made that same suggestion. I think he's going to swing wide and get Dogmeat, on the way to Fawkes. He seems to have some strange disgust for Paladin Cross, that is beyond me. If I had to choose, though, I'd also take Fawkes over her. Mostly so I wouldn't have to hear how proud my dad would be of me, every 5 minutes.

Maybe, I never tried that.
Either that will happen or save file will become incompatible until you reinstall DLC.

It might be worth the risk, as you're not able to play it right now anyway, right? Might not be a bad idea to also back up that save, just for giggles.

Read the Reddit boards. Makes any speculating we do here pale by comparison in its lunacy. Still some interesting comments.

Oh and can someone help me please. Both Fallout 3 and New Vegas for the 360 are having a message pop up saying "some content may not be playable, continue?"
What happened? Is it because I'm not connected to the internet?
I had that message in Skyrim too a few times when I tried to play it offline after upgrading to a 360 Slim. It seems to have resolved itself. Maybe you can clear the cache and try re-downloading the content licences without actually uninstalling the DLC? I dunno if that's even possible to be honest, just an idea off the top of my head.

Did you upgrade to a new console? If so, you have to transfer the licenses from the old XBox to the new one, if you want to play DLCs offline.Naughty Bear wrote...

Yes I did, transferred between hard drive to the slim. But that was ages ago, I've been playing Fallout way after that and it was fine. It only happened when I moved to uni.
Some DLC's work fine, I just can't pin point which DLC isn't working however.
EDIT: Okay, New Vegas only has Lonesome Road, missing the others.
EDIT2: Fallout 3 has Broken Steel, Operation Anchorage and The Pitt, missing Point Lookout.

Survivor... I wonder if this means we might see the end of the Commonwealth & /or the Institute before we even get to visit them. If they are in one of the harshest regions as what I've read then maybe it finally proved too much for them. Maybe their slaves revolted. And your character is the only one to live through it. If that's even where the game is going that is.
In Fallout, what is the common wealth? Is it a big city?

Thanks Liam for the info. I haven't played FO3 dlcs. No wonder I don't know about this faction and that secret group.
You had this one quest in the base-game in Rivet City, though, which dropped about as much info on both the Commonwealth and Institute as you find listed on that wiki.

It's part of the main game. You encounter a member of the Institute at Rivet City, where your protagonist is tasked with solving the mystery of a runaway android hiding in Rivet City. I'm curious to learn more about them, since we really don't get much insight into the Commonwealth or the Institute.
