Everyone who complains about Skyrim's dialogue system is obviously spending way too much time talking to NPCs, and not enough time Whirlwind Sprinting of the top of the Throat of the World.

Hopefully for FO4 they'll have more than a dozen voice actors for minor NPCs.
Come on now, don't get greedy. Bethesda can only aford 13, 14 tops.

Well I was not amused. Is Bethesda not aware of the internet? Any other dev would have deunked it, or were they too busy eating popcorn?
One of them made a statement to the effect they don't acknowledge hoaxes to discourage attention seekers.

Can't say I'm broken up about this. Another Fallout game is inevitable. In the meantime there's plenty of other games to hold my attention.

So is anybody here going to load up FO3 again just so they can brutally murder all of the members of the Tunnel Snakes?
Thinking about it. Effin' snakes...

I take it I'm the only one here who liked Fallout 3 and New Vegas? Both were good games, in my humble opinion. Flawed, but good. I found them to be fun.
Rather enjoyed my Courier blazing a trail through the Mojave in search of Benny, the forks in the road when it came to handling quests, the neat dialogue options avaliable when speaking to Benny when my Courier finally caught up to him, and the choices in being able to shape the future of the land. I'm partial to a highly intelligent protagonist.
Also had a blast with my Lone Wanderer wandering through the ravaged landscape of the Capital Wasteland, being able to take diplomatic approaches to antagonists like the Overseer and Autumn (a stable of the series), wrecking carnage against the Enclave with an anti-Communist robot from the past, deciding between euthanizing Harold and bringing life back to the Capital Wasteland, and wondering whether siding with or against Ashur would bring a better future with my Lone Wanderer.
That's just my two cents, of course.
Definitely not the only one. I loved both as well. With a preference towards the gameplay and story arcs of New Vegas, and the general atmosphere of Fallout 3.
I also have not played the first two, although I just bought them on Steam, so that will change. But I love both the most recent games.

I wonder how many NPCs they would have had the budget to give personalities to if they didn't hire Liam Neeson?Mr.House wrote...

Then again, it almost isn't Fallout with out Ron Pearlman

Ew, Fallout without Ron Perlman? That would be almost as bad as StarCraft without Glynnis Campbell.Gravisanimi wrote...
If FO4 doesn't have an intro voiced by Ron Pearlman, I think they could have 40 NPC actors.

Oh, and hoax guy is doing an AMA on reddit. Trying to stretch out his 15 minutes.
He spent $990 and 700 hours creating the hoax. In case you think your life is small and sad.

Besides, I do have to say, the hoax did inspire me to dust off FO:NV, and it got my hubs to play FO3 again. And it brought us all together. I've been enjoying the crap out of playing the NV DLCs, and regaling my progress here.
Speaking of which, I'm still playing TLR. Discovered the joy of tunnelers and ninja Deathclaws, and am intrigued by Ulysses. I kinda hope I don't have to kill him. Please don't spoil it for me!
