Perhaps I'll finally do that neutral run through Fallout 3. I've got a taste for it now, and I wore out New Vegas.

That's the real problem for me, nothing else to play. At least it's easy on the wallet.
Oh, and hoax guy is doing an AMA on reddit. Trying to stretch out his 15 minutes.
He spent $990 and 700 hours creating the hoax. In case you think your life is small and sad.

That's just insane. What an ass.
Yes, Mr.Hoaxer, give me a PS4 or I will kill you.

Well, I am sad to find out that the whole thing was a hoax, but I'm still holding a candle for FO4. The US studio could be working on it in Stealth mode for all we know.
Besides, I do have to say, the hoax did inspire me to dust off FO:NV, and it got my hubs to play FO3 again. And it brought us all together. I've been enjoying the crap out of playing the NV DLCs, and regaling my progress here.
Speaking of which, I'm still playing TLR. Discovered the joy of tunnelers and ninja Deathclaws, and am intrigued by Ulysses. I kinda hope I don't have to kill him. Please don't spoil it for me!

Some of those warheads are tricky to find. They're buried in terrain high above where you need to look, or partially obscured by rubble. I spent hours combing areas I had already been through tracking them all down. Other than a slight sense of satisfaction, it wasn't worth the time. I'd just check out a YouTube video and save yourself the trouble.
As for Ulysses... I killed him without a shred of hesitation. Decided before he took ED-E too. I took him as being a pseudo-intellectual with delusions of grandeur and nothing more.

That whole DLC was a bit disappointment for me. All the DLC's leading up to the other courier, and I thought there'd be something with meat to it.
The guy had a screw loose and his 'logic' not only didn't work, it didn't make a lick of sense. Talk about major disappointment, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop to explain what he REALLY was doing, what his REAL motivations were.

Yeah, I'm a little ashamed to admit that I let him live, now. The kick in the face for me was either having to sacrifice ED-E, or nuking someone. Let's just say I choose poorly all around (ED-E was the casualty).
I read up on the Courier's Mile, and decided I wanted nothing to do with it. Irradiated Marked Men, and Deathclaws that deal Perception damage? Good lord, no thanks. I kept a couple of saved games, just in case I felt like going back pre-Ulysses, and I know I can go back there whenever, even post-Ulysses, but I doubt I will.

Then something awful happened. I got back to the Mojave, and couldn't decide what to do next. I picked up Mojave ED-E, and Boone, and went...nowhere. I was stuck. So I watched some Food Network, then started a new playthrough of Fallout 3.
I wasn't thrilled with The Lonesome Road, tbh. I think my favorite of the four was Old World Blues, and the survivalist story from Honest Hearts. And I loved Christine.
Yeah, that whole "you're going to pay for something you don't remember doing" business was a little strange. But it was nice to wrap up the loose end of the other Courier.Addai67 wrote...
I spared Ulysses, as the Courier really isn't in a position to judge, and it gives both a chance for redemption. I didn't like the DLC for imposing that background on our character, and it's my least favorite of the DLCs in general, but still a good way to round out the game by giving you some resolution and combat challenge.
I'm replaying FNV now with a science- EW build and determined to get Raul's personal quest which I've never been able to do.
I don't know, but I hope so. After meeting them both, it would be cool to be able to relate them to each other that way. Well, except for the part where they're not together. I do still wish my Courier could have hooked up with Christine, herself. Heh.LobselVith8 wrote...
Do you think Veronica was the one who Christine was romantically involved with? I think so, and I kinda hope they meet up again.

Sadly it's a flair.
If only he could get punished by losing nearly every reddit karma.
It's petty, but at least he should get some sort of slap to his wrists.

I talked down Ulysses then my courier nuked the Legion, she has no love for the Legion and a ally death is not worth it in her eyes.
