For some reason, I'm thinking about the hierodules and sexual rituals in films like Eyes Wide Shut being in this game.

But I may have stated this before. Underwear sex is the only thing that's reasonable to get rid of here.

I think you should be more concerened with Biowares bait and switch techniques in this series. Give you a half finished game and make you have to pay additional for the full product. The lack of content in DA 2 was so off putting they'll have to do somethin exceptional to get me back into the series.

Anyhow, they're just trying to act bold throwing in the sex scenes when they're actually just giving you a fade to black crap shot that noone cares about.

Haha!  Yes, that was amazingly funny and awkward.

I'll like it if the "sex scenes" are more like the snu-snu with liara, before the final mission in ME3.  While that scene was awkward as hell, it was somewhat well done.  IMO, of course.  Full-blown nudity is just not necessary.

Isabela romance scene in DA2 was just there to taunt us. Lol that was one of the best  "eff you and dream on" move  I've ever seen done.

well they're not scrapping romances. Gaider said so in a thread he closed a couple of months back when the romance haters got out of
hand. Although Gaider said in one of the Game Informers interviews that they may have to cut back on romances at some point in the future. Seems a little bit contradictory .
As it is saying they would rather romances be scrapped is a waste of time as far as DAI is concerned. Perry's mature and tasteful statement to me means to expect Liara like romance scenes, which is fine.
I am surprised this thread hasn't been closed. The OP either didn't read Perry's mature and tasteful statement in the interviews or didn't understand it.
Same with Gaider's posting in the closed thread.
It has been settled as far as DAI is concerned.
Now if you want to discuss any dlc or DA4 that's another question .

I can't really think of a way to improve on that, so I'm quite pleased.

Fine with me. Besides what I really want from romances is a way to display affection for my LI all through the game, not just in specially triggered scenes. Sex scenes are a plus to this.
I'm happy to hear they're doing away with that ugly underwear by the way, it made for some really clumsy situations. XD

Better idea: make Dragon Age Inquisition a great game, with ME1 style obscured nudity for the sex scenes, then license the characters and setting to an actual porn company for a "parody" porn flick, take a cut of the profits, win. Preserve your reputation by making the entire deal confidential, while retaining the ability to veto the selection of adult entertainers who clearly do not match the character, like anyone trying to portray a character in a middle ages setting with a ridiculous plastic-inflated chest.

Count me in on that. Or just like how the Mass Effect 3 scenes are. You get a adorable little talk and then fade to black sex and then you see the aftermath of cuddles and spooning.

Maybe this had been said, but how about scenes like the witcher 2, triss an geralt in the elven ruins? Projekt red pulled it off on the damn console version..no reason why bioware should be timid. GTA V intro of Trevor, God of War..etcetera etc..if it's about expanding the art form and coaxing a deeper connection to the story and characters, that's real deal. I'm not ever against mature content in games labeled M. That's a grown up game. Period.

I don't know how Witcher 2 pulled that off but they did.

Pretty sure people don't expect Bioware to pull off something like that (although if they did, that would be a huge surprise or delight). Bioware isn't going to get away with any scenes of that level, maybe because they're more well-known making them easier targets for scrutiny.
