This isn't true, for me at any rate. I am a female who really doesn't desire to see a pair, but I understand that they exist and kind of show during sex. If I could just get several really romantic scenes I would be happy; I don't necessarily demand to see characters slamming like Barbie dolls. To me, maturity doesn't equal raunchy sex scenes or covering everything up and pretending it doesn't exist.

I think this has made a perfect point.

Personally however, I don't care what Bioware does in terms of their sex scenes as I'm not big on the romance anyway.

Something like sex scenes from Witcher 2 or GTA would be nice. I don't know why censors give DA/ME a Mature rating.

Well if we're wishing for things might as well wish for the best.

I would take a very good, top notch sex scene with good dialogue over any form of romance scene they can make.

There's really no reason THAT can't happen. Just because they did good in one aspect, doesn't mean they can do crappy on the other aspects of the romance scene. After all, we as fans, and more imporantly buyers/consumers, can demand quality all around right?

I don't see how this was too difficult for BW to show. Don't tease us by telling us a LI has glowing lyrium tats but not give us a glowing lyrium sex scene.

I don't see the harm. Both parties are dressed. But then again it's probably still too hot for BSN if we have to ask for actual sex scenes.

A good sex scene is not that impotant if the romance is more emotional without it. Just saying.

Not saying I want either/or. I am just saying that a sex scene is not needed to know that my Fem!Hero is bumping uglies with their LI.

This is a non-argument. Romance isn't necessary in a good story either. The plain fact is that a sex scene adds to a romance if done well, and people want that, just as romance can add to a story if it's done well. That's why we have them.

And doing sex scenes well, for me that means making them believable, i.e. not covering up things that wouldn't plausibly be covered just for the sake of the f*cking censors and the fundamentalists. I don't need to see everything. In fact, I really don't want to see everything (there are enough other places for that if I want it), but this is an M-rated game, damn it. I find it insulting to be treated like that by a game.

I understand, but to me, I do not feel that a sex scene is needed to convey the emotion and romantic feelings that are in a romance.

Here is the thing, I do not take offense to nudity, but I know people who do. I do not mind nudity or depictions of sex. But I do know people who do.

Do I need Nudity and depictions of sex to be in a game. No. its not "Needed" you can write perfectly well done relationships without a bedroom scene.

I am starting to think that most of the people who want those scenes are just wanting there parents to buy the game so it can get around the internet parental controls. Cause honestly I'm tired of the this argument. BW is not going to do pixel porn.

Lol. That's how I rather feel about it. Still, it's hard to imagine any sort of meaningful relationship without sex so they'd have had to work that in somehow. Glad they haven't gone so far as full nudity yet though because that would make it a little tacky I think.
