System:
Core i7 920
6g RAM
Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium
ATI HD4850 @ 1920x1080
Antivirus disabled

Loading screens takes, no exaggeration, > 15 minutes.  Once the game has been played, the first screen is faster than that after reboot, but subsequent screens get longer and longer.

I have almost the same setup, however i am running Vista 64 instead of W7.. I have found it better to actually run the program regularly, rather than the usually optimal "run as administrator." The game runs very smooth on max graphics. However, after 2-3 hours of playing, the cut screens and load screens get to be delayed quite a bit. I fix this simply by restarting my computer and continuing on. It must be a very graphically intensive game using up quite a bit of ram / video ram and my guess is that it just needs to be cleaned out regularly for max performance. If this doesnt work, try putting the video settings on lower, obviously to increase performance, but it also will cut down on the consistant pull on your graphics card which should help free up load screens in the long run. my 2cp..

There are 3 threads in the general area about this.
social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/9/index/85384/1
Then he started this one social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/9/index/88429
And this a diferent one social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/9/index/81053/1

If it is a memory leak, then rebooting will fix it as a workaround.
Hopefully that can be patched as I dont want to have to reboot every 2-4 hours.

I been having the same issue, loading times are in excess of 5 mins usually. One time was over 15 mins. Plus many times during gameplay everything gets very "choppy". I begin to think this game has a serious memory leak. No issue playing Mass Effect on max settings for example, so I doubt it's my system.

Was getting load times of 6+ minutes at one point, restarted my system and load times are fast again, so it's definatly a memory leak.

Same with me, only slowdown I ever had in Mass Effect was in the 2 bars.

Same CPU and OS as you.

Radeon 4850 and 3gb ram.

I was playing at 1920x1200, but droped that down a notch. Didn't help though.

Odd, I've not noted this at all on this system.

I sure see a lot of AMD users posting with issues though, and ATI.

Maybe after I get further into the game .. my caveat is I only have 8 hours of human time invested so far.

Just wanted to follow this one up, as I no longer experience the slow load times.
What changed?  My hard drive died!  So I did a fresh reinstall of Windows 7 and Dragon Age, and everything works very smoothly.  I get full cutscenes and loading times are very short.

There is probably no reason to suspect your hard drive is dying because you experience slow load times, but I will add,:

-- offtopic --
if you have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11, make sure it's not one of the affected serial numbers that has bad firmware.  You are in especially big trouble if the drive is OEM, such as the one on my Gateway FX; they will replace it under warranty but will not do data recovery.
--

Obviously I could have had some other lingering problems from my Vista->Windows 7 upgrade, but it wouldn't hurt to run a diagnostic on your hard drive, and if possible, run from a fresh install to rule out your hardware and new drivers.

Hard drive is actually fairly new. I got it the same day win7 came out. I figured since have to wipe the drive to install the new OS, may as well get a new hard drive in the process.

Tried everything I can think of to get the game to work. I defrag after an installation. I turned down all the settings to minimum. Shut off all backgrond apps, including my security suite (cept windows firewall). Tried to launch game under "run as admin" and regularly. Launched from the exe instead of launcher.

None of these do anything, game has a memory leak IMHO.

So I tried something a little different last night. Only played for an hour so I'm not sure if it actually worked or not. But in that hour, I didn't have any slowdowns.
16Gb USB stick setup with readyboost.
It normaly takes about 60-90 min to start getting long loading times. So as I only played for an hour, this is hardly a conclusive test.
If it is a memory leak, I doint think this will solve any problems, but if you use the leaky boat analogy, it might be providing a bigger bucket to bail with.
It was clearly doing something as the USB drive was frequently being accessed.
Even if this means I get 2-3 hours between reboots, it's better than it is now.

AMD Phenom 9600 X4, 4gb ram, 1Tb 7200rpm drive, Radeon 4850, 16Gb OCZ Rally stick. Not even a true "readyboost" drive, just USB 2.0. Win7 home Pre 64bit.
