 I love how all codex entries are written in the NPC authors perspective, making them all the more enjoyable to read through since we're also reading what these characters think on the subject, and that they might be even be wrong or misinformed on the information they write making it easier for the developers to add or change a bit of a lore without it actually it being a retcon but rather an addition to how much knowledge on the subject these characters actually had.

Getting to the matter at hand, i'd like to see this approach to instead of just the codexes to be used on other entries like the journal and quest logs, Varric would be the perfect character for this and i know i'd love to read a record of my adventure written from his point of view.

I'd like to see what other ideas people around here could come up with to make the journal more enticing to read through.

well codex entries are not how I played them. I understand due to some of us saved Lothering and did every alt ending they could think of. I wish Jowen's story could have continued on. I wonder if DA will come out with a GOTY with all DA games and extras for the a power 3 collection.
