queen of the class tends to be attracted to the king of the class.
It wouldn't surprise me if both of them had a fling or even a relationship since both of them stand high with the illusive men. both of them are intelligent and attractive.
Kai leng only problem is that despite being intelligent he is also a xenophobe for the sake of bein a xenophobe which makes him a moron.

Miranda mention that too many join Cerberus out of xenophobia and kai leng hit that marks perfectly. so id describe their relationship as a hate-love one which could have developed romantically.

Well we know what happened between FemShep and Jacob and I can extrapolate.

Jacob has the fortune of being at the right place at the right time.

Namely, being in continuous close proximity to strong, proactive females, when said females' brains are swimming in hormones due to long periods of work without any meaningful vacation or even social life.

Oh, and he's not a big prude like a certain Mr. Alenko. And there you have it, the Casanova of the Mass Effect saga through very little effort of his own.

...Okay, I'll try to answer the questions.

- How plausible/probable is this?

Little. His alignment tends to go towards Lawful Evil(at least based off the Post-Indoctrinated Kai), and I don't see Miranda going for him. Plus, he's hardly well-spoken "No, Now it's fun", and while he is on the cerberus side, I just don't see that happening.

- How interesting/exciting is this?

The next time I'll be excited for ME4 is probably the trailer they throw out. I'm still waiting for the Mass Effect Boards' Discussion to pique my interest. This may be a while.

Thank god for that, I'm not a fan of the "Big hero takes the shy and naive girls innocence" subplots, GTFO with that noise. You can see from the romance scene in Engineering that Miranda has skills, as it should be. Too bad I am restricted to watching it on Youtube, since Bro Code stops me from romancing Miranda due to her being Jacob's ex.
