I bet the tears are only happening because something has gone fubar in the Black City and it's going to crashland in Thedas, Stargate Atlantis style.

I would love to see an elven

beautiful and a bit sad soundtrack, which will brighten the drama of
ruins and underline the magnificence of views - and you will get a tasty
piece of cake waiting to be eaten

That sounds like a perfect way to visit Arlathan, which is presumably somewhere in the middle of Arlathan Forest.

I'd like there to be some sort of hidden enclave of scholastic elves in Arlathan that preserved much of elven lore to enrich Dalish culture and expand upon them in a lore friendly manner without the need for much retconning.

I'd also like to visit Halamshiral because it's still in existence and the ruins of the second elven nation should still abound since Halamshiral was it's former capital.

I seem to recall some people complaining about the fade. So I hope we return to the fade, are turned into a mouse again and have to solve a huge maze. Oh and doors should be none linear portals so you have to memorize where each one leads. I think that would be enough.

No, please Maker no. For the love of Andraste have mercy.

I really hated that mouse maze. The specs I got out of it were good but the place really bored the snot out of me.

Arlathan was sunken beneath the earth according to legend.  I would imagine a place called Arlathan forest would be the first place the dalish might search for it, so I'm skeptical about finding it anywhere.

Besides, it stands to reason that Arlathan would be in the Northern regions of Thedas, as it apparently fell to the forces of the early Imperium which only came south later in its history.

An underground enclave hidden by magic then :P Most elven ruins seem to be underground anyway for some reason. Even Ostagar has elven ruins underneath it.

It's interesting to think that Arlathan Forest is merely named after Arlathan, rather than because the city was situated in it. Might be something to that.

I'd like to see a place like the Elven bath ruins in Flotsom from Witcher 2 (Spellings most likely wrong.)
My reaction when I entered that place:

Would love to see my dwarven cousins in Kal'Sharok (even though they may want to kill me). Kirkwall would be nice but me thinks that it may burned to the ground after Hawke left. Since there was no real leadership...

Maybe Nevarra, I want to see how that tribal culture works. Most definitely want to see Par Vollen! And I would like to go back to Ferelden, more specifically Orzammar, Denerim, and Amaranthine. Anywhere else is just a bonus.

I'd like to visit the Dales.  They're in southern Orlais, so I suppose there's a chance that could happen.

Also, I seem to be one of the few people who liked visiting the Fade, even in DAO

Tevinter, baby. AKA, the one and only place where a mage is actually safe and gets treated with any degree of dignity. It's probably also the most likely place Hawke and Anders would go, for that very reason... probably Hawke and Merrill too.

I am not sure the fade is anywhere I would like to visit. Just tell me we are not going to go around closing Oblivian gates while fighting a civil war between the Stormcloak Mages and the Chantry Imperials.

Orzammar and tevinter and parvollen are places I want that are a maybe. Orlais and ferelden will be there and I am glad to see them. I am hesitant about kirkwall because half the topics on alot of forums will be OMG they are going to try to make it like DA2.

That's actually quite realistic considering it's a nightmare dimension. You're seeing things that were never meant to be seen by the waking mind boy!

I guess nobody saw the Adam Sessler interview with Darrah where Tevinter is mentioned .
Nobody but me.
shrugs.
I think we're going everywhere but Par Vollen.
Ferelden Orlais, Rivain, Antiva, Tevinter, The Free Marches, Orzammar, Kal Sharok, Nevarra, and the Anderfels.

I suspected that those desert areas might be the Anderfels... Glad to see this confirmed!

Tevinter is still one of the places I'd like to visit though. Free some slaves and feel good about myself.

Whether they want to be free or not.

One level in the Silent Plains. And another in Arlathan Forest.

Both great places (lore-wise).

Which desert areas are you talking about, the ones from the trailers, the concept arts since they are probably the western approach in Orliais, also they haven't confirmed or hinted at the Anderfels yet.

Hmm I completely forgot about these concept arts.

“Through a breach in the sky, the brave now walk where once we feared to dream.”

Possibly the black city, and I have a couple from the fade that i'll upload later.

DA:I - The Dales
This was one of the first concept images released for Inquisition. When we first started seeing what Frostbite could handle we began experimenting with larger scale locations like this.

Though they aren't confirmed just yet, it seems highly likely we'll be going to both.
