I've wondered if Darrah made a mistake in disclosing that info. If Bioware wanted it to be a surprise . We've heard nothing that specific in the other recent interviews.
I want to see a lot. I just hope it makes sense.

Just found this
Inquisition promises to be the biggest Dragon Age yet, taking into account a whole array of choices, as you journey across the vast expanses of Thedas from the Tevinter Imperium to Ferelden and the Orlesian Empire. “A single action can change everything,”

Hinted at Neverra and the Free Marches in there world map from a few trailers and the loading screens from the demo, so it's highly likely we will be going to those aswell but beyond that I don't know.
@Vit246 Crestwood is in Fereldan

Hmm I don't think he made a mistake angry since they've been pretty quiet in regards to how many nations we will vist and which ones they are, so far they've confirmed Orliais, Fereldan and Tevinter.

A mage first playthrough is now set in stone for me, I think.

Crestwood is apart of Ferelden. Also, I didn't know Par Vollen is sealed to outsides.Vit246 wrote...
Orlais, Nevarra, Tevinter, Rivain. Seheron. I don't know about Par Vollen because no outsiders are permitted to enter there.

Except you know, corrupt magisters dueling each other in the streets and being assassinated by their peers. Its no better than the courts of Orlais, worse in fact, because you can be totally open about if you want. Tevinter is a HORRIBLE place.TheButterflyEffect wrote...
Tevinter, baby. AKA, the one and only place where a mage is actually safe and gets treated with any degree of dignity. It's probably also the most likely place Hawke and Anders would go, for that very reason... probably Hawke and Merrill too.
I would like to go to the Dales, hopefully when Arlathvhen is on. We already know we're going to Halamshiral, that's where Morrigan is (And I believe the Empress is there visiting as well)

Possibly the black city, and I have a couple from the fade that i'll upload later.
DA:I - The Dales
This was one of the first concept images released for Inquisition. When we first started seeing what Frostbite could handle we began experimenting with larger scale locations like this.
Though they aren't confirmed just yet, it seems highly likely we'll be going to both.
By the sacred balls of the Old Gods I hope we get to have a gander at the Black City. Been dying to visit it ever since the Dragon Age: Origins intro.

I'm hoping we can see Ferelden and most of the places there or at least Denerim and what it all looks like now after the blight. A visit to Kirkwall wouldn't be bad either.
Orlais and Nevarra, and some of the Free Marches seems to be a given.
I'd like them to save Trevinter for another game; but, this is just me. I'd also like to know more about Rivain and Antiva as well and hopefully one day we'll get to go there was well.

No, I agree I would like to see the next game feature Tevinter with Antiva, Rivain, and the Anderfalls. I would want to play a Tevinter Mage, or Rivainni seer as a mage and an Antivan Crow as a rogue.

Last night I watched the DA:I gameplay videos again and even at this stage it looks great. I love Skyrim with it's desaturated color palette, which lends to the feel of it's game. But at the same time, I like the change of pace in DA:I with it's warmer, brighter feel to it and it's own art style.Angrywolves wrote...

I remember having a discussion here, ages ago when DA:I was first announced, and on my wishlist was having seamless transitions from caves to outdoors. With the right layout you can create some very powerful transitional scenes. Imagine winding your way through icy caverns in the Frostback Mountains to come upon a scene like this...

I'm hoping they have a mix of claustrophobic narrow chasms along with these yawning caverns. And speaking of caverns, I love that one underground section we've seen which actually looks like a natural cave with water-shaped limestone, dripping stalactites and so on.
But what I really want to see is how they handle areas of dense vegetation - forests and swamps. There so much opportunity for creative terrain.
