ME2 Praetorian is way harder than ME3. Its "Death Choir" makes it the most dangerous enemy out there. It will be very nice to see that Praetorian in ME3. Unfortunately, BioWare wanted to make MP easy so they nerf it all the way to current state.

I'd actually call the ME3 one tougher.

The ME2 one was incredibly easy to kite.

I never found the me2 praetorian difficult. Also, "The difficulty of killing a single praetorian is inversely proportional to the total number of praetorians one is trying to kill at the same time, such that one praetorian is almost impossible to get rid of, two praetorians are difficult, but two hundred praetorians are easily batted aside."

There's more than one of them in a match now, unlike ME2 where there were two (or was it three? I can't remember) in the entire game, so it's good they're easier - other than possessed praetorians which are too tanky.

In ME2 you had 2 Praetorians. One on Horizon and the other one on the collectors ship.

In ME3MP on Gold or Platinum you have Praetorians everywhere, thats why they are weaker than in ME2.

Other than the fact that death choir was extremely easy to avoid, the praetorian was extremely slow, and its lasers had no AOE so you could just right hand advantage it to death. ME3's praetorians are definitely more of a pain to deal with.

What we really need is for husks to fusion dance into praetorians when enough of them gather.

ME3 Praetorians are broken. They are fast moving Atlases with super fast, almost unavoidable magnet sync-kill, wall piercing buttlazers, make no sound most of the time, can get possessed for more hitpoints and block almost every power while flying. (for some weird reason Reave and DC get trough)

ME2 Praetorians were much better balanced and much scarier.

death choir was only dangerous if you biotic charged the damn thing, otherwise it was super easy to avoid, and had absolutely no deference against powers, and moved slowly, and had no instant kill, and was always alone, and the me3 one can put fast moving, dodging drell on it's menu

If a me3 praetorian attacked in me2 it would have torn you in half,

Point is invalid when ME3's Praetorian can fire its beam from his arse in any direction and through walls (never saw that happen once in ME2, maybe if it does it's a bug, but in ME3's multi-player it's a normality).

ME 2 was much much tougher. Can't tell if anyone that disagrees with me never played the game or is stupid.

I don't think anybody here is actually calling ME2 easier.

We're saying the Praetorian was easier because it was very predictable and very easy to kite.

I've not really found boss fights in Mass Effect SP to ever be that difficult, even on insanity.

False dichotomy.  Personally, I suspect both.

Butt lazers. That is all.
