Honestly, a worldwide release date would maximize sales.

yes because you know better than the number 1 gaming company in the world based solely on profit.

Are you stupid or just ignorant?

If it worked for MW2, why not ME2?

ME2 is the most anticipated game for this year.

ooook...to clarify (jokes or not) I have dual citizenship, an american AND a euro credit card, and Im trying to buy ME2 CE on the 26th and not the 29th. As the asnwer is probably no, I still ask everyone, is there ANY way to get the US version?? Plus to anyone who says that waiting to release doesnt increase piracy...go read the big yello book "common sense for dummies" lol

If you got a US credt card issued in the US, use an US-based proxy *and* put in an US address for your living location it *should* work with ddl-services like Steam or direct2drive...though, at least Steam utilizes a rather extensive proxy ban-list so you might be hard pressed to find a working one.

I'm also in the same boat as you. Waiting for 3 additional days for no real reason (from a customer viewpoint) really sucks. I think it's really unfair that we are not allowed to "digitaly import" the us version on (the actual) release day. Sh** sucks :(

I live in Spain and, honestly, i'm thankful the release is only posposed three days, as I'm used to waiting much, much more.

Anyway, I won't be able to play until february, cause i'm in the middle of my career exams for this semester. Am I the only one with that problem?

I'm beginning to think half of the posters here are actually internet bots incapable of processing what they once wrote.

Cancel your EU Steam order (I think Steam orders can be cancelled if they are preorders) and do a US one with your US billing info. Here's the link for the Steam US store - http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=us

Open that link, and then go to the ME2 page to order.

Apparently people on the EA store site say that it's going to be released in the UK on the 26th if bought from them. Anyone know if this is true?
