The shield recharge builds I find to be rather underwhelming because of gate CD. I like the recharge but I'd rather have cyclonic than the SPC there. I have tried it but like Mega said the tech combo is weak and takes a while to set up. I'd rather just mow **** down with the Harrier.N7didacus wrote...
Have you tried something like this?

Yeah. He is basically a more mobile Juggernaut with a lockdown power for annoying enemies.megabeast37215 wrote...

Just imagine you're this guy with a Harrier and a crapload of ammo, whose also really 'more tankier' than most other guys. Occasionally, you trap a dude in a net and shoot his head off easier.. that's pretty much it.
I would also like to see Stardusk's build if someone has the link to it.

This was exactly how I used to build him a long time ago (except I added a little more melee damage), but it was before I even had the Harrier. Then I fell in love with Stardusk's Fire Explosion machine build, and I've been using that ever since.
Still, this is a really fun build.
Here you go.
I took 3 ranks of Blade Armor instead of rank 6 Fitness.

For the weapon, I totally agree that, given the low damage of his powers, the bat sent needs a gun with a very high DPS. But I prefer the PPR over the harrier. The bat sent's powers give you enough time to deal with the cold mode of this gun and kill every ennemies besides bosses. And you don't have to care for ammo capacity, so you can replace the thermal clip storage by an assault rifle amp and make the PPR even more beasty.

Yup sounds boring. Then again Scimitar Shockwave spam is also a little boring, just with more wub wubs.

It's a good build, I cut my teeth in Platinum with a similar build, however I hate the Harrier. And I enjoy Shockwave's disruptive power, more than anything. (I'm sorry, were you playing a Sniper?)
I always had that feeling that if I was on a sniper, there was a shockwave spammer busy spamming the ham n cheese and spam and more spam. With a side order of spam, and spam on their toast. And a warm cup of spam. With some extra spam on their spam, in case they run low on their spam. Likely they even have an IV bag loaded with spam for emergencies in case their blood content is low on spam.

Just tried the build.. Cerberus/Jade/Gold... Worked good. Renamed the guy 'Harrier Carrier'. I typically used Barrage gear, but it was nice having 155 spare ammo.
Shouldn't you be focusing on your FF matchup this week ? you know, puishups, hail marys, etc. .. I hear your opponent is pretty tough (and a cool guy too!)

Again SPC are ridiculous on a character that can get under 3 secs for recharge anyways. You do understand there is a CD on your gate, right? Cyclonics are much more effective to prevent that gate from being hitMetalDeggial wrote...
Shield Recharge Speed build. This guy doesn't need Cyclonics at all, or a boring Harrier.

So I've always been kind of at a loss for a way to use this guy in a unique way that I like until last night. I've played around with some different builds with the Venom using the net and shockwave which were fun but I still found them underwhelming. So I built this abomination which uses Batarian Passives and the Thermal Clip Storage to give a generous 191 rounds to the Harrier. With 2550 in shields and 40% DR, he can withstand a grenade without giving a damn, two volleys of Praetorian eye lazers without a scratch. He is essentially a Juggernaut with more mobility. Blade armor also doesn't give a damn about Marauder elbows or collector melee, you can essentially run into their face and force their melee which will stun them then shoot them dead. Sub net fills in the blanks for CC, phantom management, and is a nice reload cancel as well as supplementary damage. Getting used to how to net enemies is something that comes with practice and time. Putting it on the ground at phantoms feet or forcing them into flipping with gunfire then netting is the easiest strat with them.

Welcome to 1,5 year ago buddy!
I had a lot of fun with that build back in the days, Batarian Sentinel used to be one of my favorites
