After finally being able to tear myself away from console Diablo 3 I have decided to do a complete Mass Effect trilogy playthrough. Before I begin though I have a few questions I would really like answered. Before you answer please keep in mind I am playing on PlayStation 3. Which means I can not use any mods or codes or edits or other save files. Also keep in mind that I am going to do a Paragon playthrough and I will be using female Shepard. Anyway, on to my questions:

#1: Which class is generally considered to be the most fun to play across all three games by most people? (I would like to stick to the same class for the entire trilogy in order to keep the sense that my Shepard is still the same person in ME3 as she is in the first game).

#2: Does anyone have a good-looking femShep face that I could use which works in all three games? (I don't know what BioWare did but faces for Shepard do not import well from game to game. A face that looked amazing in ME ends up looking like crap when you import it to ME2. A face that looked good in ME2 looks like crap when you import it to ME3. So does anyone know of a face that I can use that looks good in all three games? I would really like to make a femShep that can be used throughout all three games. It really breaks the immersion if you have a completely different looking Shepard in each game. Also the default preset faces that you get with the game are not an option because they all are ugly.)

#3: What is generally considered the best romance option for femShep?

The soldier and sentinel classes seem to have a good deal of consistency. Lots of people like the soldier because they see the game as a shooter, or they see Shepard as a soldier. I prefer the Sentinel. Vanguard changes radically from ME1 to ME2, less so in ME3, but decidedly more powerful. Engineer class changes quiet a bit from ME1 to ME2 with the addition of the combat drone and incinerate and cryo blast. I would say it is almost completely new class. The Adept class has consistency, but how "fun" it is seems to change from game to game.

As far as romance, that is all a matter of personal preference. I have done all of the lesbian romances. I even romanced Kaiden once just so I could turn on him after he treated me like trash on Horizon. I could never bring myself to romance any of the other male characters. (I just don't swing that way.) Do you prefer ******- or hetero-relations for your femshep? If ******, then Liara is fine for ME1 and ME2. She is also fine for ME3, but I actually came to like Traynor better.

1- Soldier, because in ME1 allows you to wear Heavy Armor
ME2 gives the Soldier the ability to wield all weapons (except SMG) from the beggining
ME3: Well, continue the experience :D

2: Nope

3: Garrus, I think, but you need to go for ME2 to romance him and ME3: Citadel to have an awesome scene of romance.

I'm sorry mate, but ME1 doesn't store facecodes. So there's no luck there, you'll just have to do your best making your own Shepard.

I always felt that a Femshep is best as an Infiltrator. But that inspiration resides mostly from the orignal Diablo and I see a very solid equation between Rogue and Infiltrator (Demon Hunter and Infiltrator if you'd like to be modern). Alternatively, Sentinel is also very good but not as consistent, since you go from being essentially a support caster to more or less the best class in the game.

Contentwise, Liara's romance obviously has the most content. If you're playing as a total flawless Paragon I would recommend Kaidan, if you're going for a more balanced Femshep you can pick Garrus.

here's a link you can use to decide what you want your femshep to look like(people posted pics of their shepard)

The class I had the most fun was engineer especially in ME3

For me the best romance is Samantha Traynor in ME3. As femshep I don't romance anyone in ME1 or ME2

1. Most fun class: This varies from person-to-person base on personal tastes. And the classes can play slightly between games. For me peronally, the most consistently-fun classes across all three games is the Infiltrator and Vanguard.

2. "Good-looking" is also a matter of taste. The default FemShep is not too bad. I find that a lot of faces (mostly FemShep faces) look terrible at the ME2 import screen, but actually look better in the game. ME3 improved the visuals enough that it does not really looks all that terrible.

3. For me, I preferred Kaidan romances. But then, FemShep gets kind of shafted the romance options department. I saw a playthrough of Garrus that was actually better than I expected, but the human-alien relationships are still kind of weird. I guess I am xenophobic.

For what it's worth, I think the default faces look pretty good. Maybe I'm just terrible with the character creator, so I always just go with the default (also helps with looking consistent across all of the games). I feel the same way toward DA2, call me lazy I guess.

The class decision is completely dependent on your playstyle, but all of them hold up well throughout the trilogy. It all boils down to which one you find the most interesting and/or plays similarly to what you enjoy playing in other RPGs. My favorites are the soldier, vanguard, and infiltrator (I'm not a big fan of the "caster" playstyle and prefer a weapon-dependent approach)

As for romances, Liara has the most content as a LI across all of the games (well, if you have LOTSB). I don't like her that much as a character so I'm an advocate of Kaidan and Garrus. Whatever you do, don't make the same mistake I did by picking Thane :(

Could be worse. I picked Jacob in one of my playthroughs.

1- Any class is worth playing. Yes, I played with all the six. I just recommend that you unlock the "Assault Rifles" bonus talent before starting the serious playthrough of ME1. This can be done by killing 150 enemies with the assault rifle, and the talent will be available for your next character. Or just play ME1 with the soldier. Adept + A.R. or Sentinel + A.R. are very fun.

2- This small tool will allow you to pick a code for ME3 and convert to sliders for ME1. Then, when importing your save into ME3, just use the code again.
If you want a suggestion, use this code in the converter, and use the face in ME1 and ME2:
841.1DG.D15.K8Q.G8D.85D.L6J.7E1.JD6.7L7.2G6.676
How she looks in ME1.
And then, when importing to ME3, use the following code:
741.1EH.C14.P8Q.F7C.7HE.N6K.6G1.DE5.8R7.2G6.415
She'll look like this.

3- Garrus and Kaidan, if you want to go hetero.

 1. As for class, pick what you like.  There are definitely gameplay differences in the classes across the 3 games, but if you're having fun and enjoying the class you're playing, it's easier to roll with changes to gameplay.  For example, Adepts were pretty OP in ME1, but a lot of people complained they got nerfed in ME2 and weren't any fun to play anymore.  I disagreed, and had big fun playing with an Adept in ME2 despite the changes to gameplay, because it just suited my playstyle.  It didn't matter that you couldn't lock down entire rooms full of enemies anymore; I just found a way to make it work because I enjoyed it.  So just pick something that suits your playstyle and that you'll like.  It's worth doing brief test runs with all the classes before you make your decision on what to play for all 3 games.

2. Can't help you with facecodes; sorry.  "Beautiful" is subjective, anyway.

3. As for who to romance, I guess that's pretty subjective, too.  It also has a lot to do with whether you see your player character as an extension of yourself, in which case, having them romance an NPC that's the same sex as yourself might be a little uncomfortable, depending on your views, or if you see your character as more of an entity that you're controlling, but that is separate from you.  I will say that Liara is the only character that you can have a fully-realized romance with in all three games (if you get the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC for ME2--and you should: it's awesome).  Kaidan you can romance in ME1 and ME3, but he hardly appears in ME2; Garrus you can romance in ME2 and ME3, but not in ME1, although you can definitely keep him in your party at all times in ME1.  (I loved, loved, loved Garrus as a character, but I'm sorry: he looked too much like a bug for me to see him as a viable romance option, but that's just me!:P)   I will also say that people tended to have strong feelings, positive and negative, about Kaidan--a lot of people hated him, but an almost equal amount loved him.  I found personally that he has a lot more dialogue and is a deeper character all-around in ME1 if you romance him than if you don't, which is probably why I liked his character--my character romanced him in my first playthrough of ME1, so that impression lingered when he pretty much clammed up in my second playthrough as a male Shep.
