I believe that The Architect is one of the magisters and he is amnesiac.

I believe his name comes from the title he occupied prior to the breach in The Godlen City - he was the magister responsible with the expansion of The Imperial Highway and possibly had some power in Kirkwall ( the stones that were used in constructing  The Imperial Highway comed from Kirkwall ).

Don't know if it counts as "story prediction" but I suspect someone important will get an Ogre to the face in the prologue, and said orgerifying of the face will have long lasting consequences for the rest of the game.

Though from the sound of it, we won't have Darkspawn in DA: I's prologue so it'll probably either be something that's made it self look like an Ogre or whatewver the Ogre-Equivilent is with the Tear Demon ranks

DA: O = Cailan/Civil War
DA2: Hawke Twin/Angst

Hang on JulianWellpit, I thought you had said Corypheus was the one responsible for the expansion of the Imperial Highway?

Edit: Forget I said that. Just saw your response to the post on the Architect thread.

We will see darkspawn in DAI. We're going to Kal Sharok, so we'll see darkspawn . And we'll interact with the Architect and intelligent darkspawn.

How do you know that?

There's nothing sure about Kal-Sharok. I think it's highly likely that we'll go in the DR, considering the concept arts and one scene in-game in the Gamescon dev diary, but we could as well go to Orzammar.

Hopefully, we at least can travel to a different dwarf city this time. I would love it if our Deep roads portion had us trying to traverse the route from Orzammar to Kal-Sharok.

Reading story predictions makes me giggle.

Every now and again, one of them is right--but a broken clock is right twice a day, so... yeah. :)

My favourites are the times that someone makes a correct prediction, then dozens of people point out that it's probably wrong and the original eventually recants on said prediction.

The Inquisitor and co. travel throughout the land, gathering allies to stop the big bad and fix the veil tear problem. This should be obvious.

None of the lingering mysteries are touched upon in any satisfying or substantial way, but *more* mysteries are introduced.

The OGB plot is either ignored or glossed over in a bit of throwaway dialogue by Morrigan. (Suffer puny mortals).

Thedas is left weakened and vulnerable for a Qunari invasion in DA4. (Cue future Qunari slaughter-fest. YAY!!!!!!!)

Do you perchance have an example of this from Origins or DA2?

Well....let nobody say the fans do nothing for the developers' entertainment  Much more fun on both sides than b*tchfests.

I predicted that the collectors are protheans, but I never posted it here. I've been posting wild theories ever since.

Here we go: The Inquisitor's body is the host for Justice. Your moral choices determine whether he's a spirit of Justice or a demon of Vengeance.

For DA:I the inquisitor will fight fenharel, then figure out flemeths a good crazy old dragon and then you can either kill flemeth anyway along with putting fenharel to sleep in some dark damp cave.
For DA:4 the last 2 old gods will awaken simultaneously and the dead ones will return from the fade which will cause chaos in thedas yadayadayada
At some point the qunari with their dragon blood will invade and attempt to enslave the thedosian races.
Then varrics chest hair will swallow thedas forming it anew.
My proof? Because yes.

We will learn nothing more about Sandal. He's just a running gag who kills pride demons now and then.

When it comes to the Kal-Sharok dwarves, I've begun to suspect they are the wardens mysterious new allies that Nathaniel Howe mentioned in Dragon Age 2

Divine Justinia is in league with whoever is behind the Fade tears. She only rose to the role through using blood magic on the previous Divine and has been engineering events like the Chantry/Templar split in preparation for what takes place in DA:I. She fakes her death at the start of the game.

The book that the former Divine gives to Cassandra in Dawn Of The Seeker is a well guarded secret of The Chantry and it was writen by Andraste or by Maferath, who has been cursed with visions that depict the future and prophetic dreams. Eighter that or it was writen by Eleni Zinovia.

YES!! We need more Eleni!

Edit: My question is this: Where in the world did she get her prophetic abilities? Are they magical, or something more?

A plot twist that for some reason I would not mind experiencing.

What I like the most of her is this prophecy : "The prison is breached. I see the encroaching darkness. The... the shadow will consume all..."

Mike Laidlaw confirmed that her phrophecies wil come true in the DA games and I really believe that this unoficially confirms the fact that Coryphenicus was right and The Golden City was alway black and that it serves as a prison for The Taint and the dark entity/entities that are caged in there.

Hmm....that sound ominous indeed. Where else would such a source of "encroaching darkness" be. The only question is this: how would this power reach out to orchestrate the widespread Chaos and create the Veil tears? The same way it did with the ancient magisters? Then who are its servants?

I recommend you read Xand's threads regarding The Maker in the meantime. We kind of discussed this in private and we have kinda the same core, but with some differences and each with some extra info and speculations. I will search for some of my comments from different thread regarding this matter ( they are big and I'm too lazy to write everything again ) and post the links here. I also suggest to make abstraction from the Maker = dark entity imprisoned in the Black City and replace it with dark entity/entities. He wasn't referring to the actual creator of Thedas, but to a demon that is confused with him, an impersonator.

EDIT

Couldn't find anything new from what I've already mentioned in my first posts regarding this matter. :(

The encroaching darkness can just be a force of nature, even if a separate group conspired to actually bring it about.
