First off, I wanted to thank all the wonderful people who worked so hard to make this possible. You're amazing!
I watched silently as this project progressed and I'm glad to see the mod is going to be released soon. Maybe some of you still remember me - I used to visit Thane threads regularly. At some point I had to stop, I think that Citadel DLC was the final reason - the dissapointment when I saw fan service all around, yet Thane fans could watch only more painful moments... This, and complete lack of time (I have finally finished writing my master thesis only a few days ago).
With this mod, some parts of ME3 will finally make sense, but I fear that for me, it's still not enough. Why? Let's see:
EDI' s new form, sidelined ME2 characters, events from Arrival making no sense ( if the Reapers were so close, why didin't the relay's explosion destroy them?), the whole Crucible plot, and some more... ME3 doesn't fit with the rest of the trilogy and I am simply having a hard time considering it canon. As a result, I go with the indoctrination theory and ME3' s events are all happening in Shepard's mind - when she wakes up - soon after much changed events of Arrival - the true fight begins... no star child, no super weapon, no imprisonment on Earth - and almost full ME2 squad on board.
On the other hand, ME3 is a really good game full of powerful moments, great scenes and touching moments (I consider all BioWare games better than any others), and I really tried to like it. This mod is something that may change a lot. Maybe, one day, I will run the game with Thane mod and finally feel that this is it - the great finale of my Shepard's story. The way it should have been...
Once again, thank you very much. I never intended to hate this game and thanks to this mod maybe I won't have to anymore.
One question: is the credits' song changed with this mod? I couldn't find anything so I guess the idea was dropped, but are there any plans for future versions of the mod? (I'm talking here about M4 part II - very fitting and somehow connecting the game more with the rest of the trilogy).
