Congrats and well done to everyone who helped make this, Thane deserves it ^_0 Whenever I get the chance to play the pc version of the trilogy I will happily download this. I only pop in and out the forums these days but I remember those frustrating days where it was slowly becoming clear that there was going to be no future fix for Thane. But you didn't give up and instead said "Fine, we'll fix this ourselves" You guys are incredible fans and should be very proud. Just thought I'd say that .

Today we are pleased to announce the release of ThaneMOD v1.0.

We should be releasing on Moddb by next week. The BSN Project Page is now updated, but downloads are via the Nexus.

@Deager/WV -- We'd love a plug on FB, if you are offering. And, really, everyone please feel free to link the mod on your blogs/social media sites. There might be a lot of people out there who don't currently mod ME3, who might now be interested with what we've done (if they are Thane fans).

@ELE -- Now I can get back to that project I was working on back in August, before I had to take over the building for ThaneMOD, lol.

A quick note regarding Ottemis' fantastic Hoodie rextures (good for both genders); to download them, click the "File" tab on the ThaneMOD nexusmods site, and scroll past the ThaneMOD "packages".

@Deager - thanks for the support. I love the fact that we have all three of these story mods (MEHEM, CEM, and ThaneMOD) and the new @Helixspiral (JohnP) edits, working so nicely together. Love all these options.

I registered an account here just to post in this thread.

Thane mod makes me so very happy. I picked up the PC version last week just to use this mod. All of the changes i have seen so far (huerta, emails) are so much better. I actually cringed when reuniting with Thane in my xbox version; that conversation was so awkward and terrible, and i just spent the whole time feeling like Shepard did not want to be there at all. This version was pretty much exactly what i wanted. Let's talk about us, not Kaidan. I didn't rush over to the Citadel hospital straight from the Terminus Systems to chat about my ex-boyfriend.

I just got the email about leaving for treatment, and my heart soared. Maybe we will have to part and meet again across the sea, but i will be damned if it is because of this disease!

So thank you for creating this mod, this labour of love. Know that it is fully and entirely appreciated.

I am using v1.0E, because i figured i'd try out the MEHEM while i was at it (since i like the geth too much to murder them!). Basically, a friend of mine linked me the main page for Thane mod, and i was like "omg, how does i put this on my xbox??" and he was like "oh....right......sorry?" So then he bought me the pc version for my birthday, and my install date just happened to coincide with the final release of the mod! It was a pretty great day. ^__^

I haven't gotten much further yet, due to work and errands and such, but i'm ready to get back to saving the galaxy, curing the genophage, and reading more emails from Thane! Huzzah!

FYI, the Here be Spoilers section of the website is now up and under active construction

 

Right now, only the friendShep page is up, but there will be an LI page going up, as well as a render gallery that will contain all the artwork made for ThaneMOD.

A few updates

 

• Development is underway for v1.1.
• The new Render Gallery is up on the Spoilers section of the website.
• The friendShep spoiler area is almost complete. It's been a ton of work, and we still need to add footage of EC and MEHEM epilogues, along with some dashing shots of friendShep sporting Thane hoodies. Look for these coming in the next couple of weeks. Construction of the LI area will begin once the friend area is complete.
• Thanks to Skipjack, ThaneMOD YouTube channel is now up. All ThaneMOD videos will be hosted here; some will be embedded on the website.
• It's a little late, but check out this great feature about ThaneMOD on girlsplaygame.com.
