Yes...you get to press the digital on-screen button that says "Import ME1 save" and then you select the save you want.....very mind boggling and complicated. It's not like we've been doing it with NG+ in ME1 or anything. I'm so glad to see this topic get a bunch of threads.....real life-saving info.

I just dislike how dependent on being told every little thing gamers have grown.....it makes me miss the days where you had 8 lives and a million chances at instant death and once you lost those 8 lives it would be permanent game over and you had to start all over from the beginning and you had to try to actually figure some things out. Today we get information announcements about how to perform 1+1 before a game ever comes out.....and it's considered breaking news.
