Hello all.

I'm a long-time fan of Bioware games, and of course, a huge lover of ME Universe.

I've finished ME3 several months ago and played a lot of multiplayer. But no more... However, things are still a little unfinished for me...

I would like to move on and play AC4 (and I know that it will consume me a significant amount of my time), or should I give Mass Effect a little more attention?

I'm considering purchasing Omega and Citadel to finally finish all the series has to offer (so far), but I'm still thinking that they are overpriced... (Just my humble opinion, with all respect to the producers)

Anyone has any clue regarding a DLC Sale? Has it ever happened on ME DCLs on PS3?

Best regards to all,
Flavio.

I don't know if there will be a sale for the dlc. Haven't seen one for PC and I do not own a PS3.
However Citadel dlc is absolutely worth the price tag. If you love the characters of Mass Effect, then this is a must have. There is so much interaction and it's a good distraction from the dark Reaper-stuff. I enjoyed Omega to a lesser extent. Omega ends after you completed the mission (which focusses on combat).

I got my copy of AC4 this afternoon and have played 5 hours since then. I'm enjoying it a lot.

Do you want to be a pirate and explore the Caribbean Sea or do you want an emotional engaging story (assuming replay ME3 completly)?

Watch it on Youtube and then decide if it's worth the money.

Citadel is worth the money, but I don't think there's been a sale of it yet.

Omega is definitely overpriced, but you missed out on a sale I know a couple of months ago. You'll probably be waiting a long time for a sale on it again

I wouldn't buy either of them till they go on sale. Granted, that may mean I never play the ME3 DLC, but that's a price I personally am willing to pay.  AC4, if it follows the pattern of the others, will be on sale, with dlc, in 6 months to a year.  I can wait.

I've never heard of sales for DLCs, especially because you need Bioware points to buy them.
Too bad they will never sell a "Mass Effect Trilogy Complete Edition."
Never played Citadel, Omega or Leviathan myself, so I can't say more.

The only DLC I bought after watching it on youtube was the Firefight pack, lol.

Given that Black Friday/Cyber Monday are coming up and sales inevitably happen around then, my recommendation would be to wait to see if the DLCs go on offer.

Then afterwards, if they don't, buy them at their full price.

Lol yeah, the weapon packs are the best value for money in my book.

Sales for BioWare games seem to be pretty rare on the PS3 unfortunately. I asked about it on the EU PS blog and they just said there were currently no plans for a DLC sale. The Dragon Age games had a sale a while back but that was about it as far as I know. Maybe there'll be one in the future though. I'd probably wait a bit longer for a sale and just get the DLCs if there's no sign of one.

I liked Citadel. Omega is overpriced though but still okay.

This. A die hard fan might need to play all the DLCs but Omega really isn't that important and adds nothing to the game after you finished the 1.5hrs mission, even Aria is back on the Citadel.
Citadel DLC is one of if not _the_ best DLC BW ever made and has a lot of content after you finished the missions.

I was planning to wait for a price drop of some kind.  I realize DLC price drops are uncommon, but I hear Bring Down the Sky was more expensive when it came out.

Omega will always be 'overpriced' as long as Aria's speech scene stays hilariously bugged.

I mean really. REALLY. You're selling this for $15 and not patching it for such a drastic damage to the DLC's experience. The scene was working in the friggin trailer.

Omega is incredibly overpriced, just buy Citadel and play in the Armax Arena if you want to fight mooks.

Since ME3 was a train wreck, I didn't see any point in getting dlc...other than free stuff.

Just about all of the ME3 DLC costs more than the core game itself at this point. Hell, if I were to buy all the DLC it would cost more than what I paid for the game at launch. There's something seriously wrong with that.

I'd keep waiting for a sale as XBOX 360 did have Omega 50% off a few monthes ago which is when I bought it and Leviathan also was 50% off a second time on live 3 monthes ago. If they do not have a ME 3 DLC during christmas or new years count down then I would say buy it then if you "can't wait any longer".

I also do not see a reason not to start AC IV as you can always come back to ME 3 and it's DLC.
