So this link here:

Has the deluxe version on sale for $10, the same price as the upgrade (I already own the game).
Does anyone know if the deluxe code is seperate from the actual game? Or is the deluxe-ness inherently bundled into the code provided to me?
I am wondering because if the code is seperate I would like to upgrade my copy and give me friend the base game as he only is interested in the multiplay and for $10 it seems worth it, as I would upgrade anyway just for the stupid dog!

I actually bought this deal so I can tell you that Amazon does give the code seperate from the game. However you have to install the game first to access the extra content like the digital book and soundtrack.

So if I already have ME3 installed I can just use the Deluxe code and save the code for the base game? Or, does it force me to install ME3 again then let me have the code?

It's all together unfortunately. The seperate code is for extra weapons. That's about it. So if you buy it, it's together.

So might as well use the $10 upgrade option then, oh well.

It's a good deal though for anyone who doesn't have the PC version! I got all three games, both ME2 and 3 digital deluxe far more cheaply than I would have without the deal.

I bought in to the "Trilogy Pack is a good discount" idea, seemed to be a good move at the time....
