Well I could point out that you don't know what irony means if I wanted a fight.

Where in this thread are all the people writing that they don't know about this mechanic or giving false reasons for it?

Most posts are making an implication that these are isolated incidence or a bug. Bladedrummer was the only one that acknowledge this as an actual mechanic.

Yeah this has happened a couple of times to me recently.

One time on Rio where I got meleed by a Centurion or something similar, died, raged dolled over the guard rail (which was bloody hilarious btw), and re-spawned at the landing zone,

The other time was on Dagger, where I got grabbed by a Banshee, knocked out of her hands, fell off and was able to walk around under the ramps lol, but then I started to walk out to far, fell off the map and re-spawned.
