I have encountered a strange problem when trying to create a new headmorph in the toolset. When creating a new morph (File=>New=>Morph) both the Object Window and the Object Inspector are blank, even after selecting the morph base. (e.g. HM_UHM_BASa_0)
I am able to rotate and zoom within the object window, but no head morph appears for me to edit.
The problem has only appeared in the last day or so.
My thinking is perhaps the toolset isn't finding the base models? If that is the case, is there any way to correct the problem? I have already attempted a reinstall, which did not correct the problem.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

The obvious question is, have you installed any mods? However, I'm assuming if you have tried a full reinstall that the issue occurs with a vanilla copy? Nothing in the Override? In that case, time to go through the full checklist:
What OS in this installed under?
Where did you install the game? Default (Program Files) or custom location?
Does the game actually run and work correctly?
Did you get any SQL server errors during its install?
Does the toolset give any warning/error messages on starting it or performing actions?
Can you see any models in the toolset? If you open an item (weapons, armour, etc.) or a creature, do you see anything showing up in the preview window?
Download this file and extract it into My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\ (restart the toolset afterwards if it was running). Now try creating a morph with a human (male or female) base and see if anything shows up.

Thanks for the reply Darth,
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium.
The game is installed in the default location and runs perfectly, with no errors of any kind.
I can create/view/edit any other items freely in the toolset and what's more, I can still edit an earlier mrf, provided that I don't try to change the base (trying to change the base does nothing).
So essentially I can edit existing mrfs, and create or edit any existing resource, but cannot create a brand, spanking new mrf.
That's what's most frustrating about this issue, I was able to create morphs only a few days ago. The game is heavily modded, but I was running all of the same mods when the toolset worked properly.
I downloaded and extracted the file as you instructed, but no joy. At this point I'm begining to suspect that I'm the victim of black magic.

Did you add any mods around the time when it stopped working? The first thing to do would be to temporarily move everything in My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\ folder somewhere else (outside the DA My Docs folders altogether) and see if the problem persists. That should determine if it is a mod or not.
What module do you have open in the toolset by the way? Does the issue persist across all modules?

Yeah I tried it in the different modules and still nothing. Temporarily moving the mods folder was also a good notion but the problem persisted.
I have an acceptable workaround, where I load an existing MRF and reset the features. It essentially gives me the base I need and then I simply "Save As" a different file name. I would prefer to just do it the normal way, but a workaround is a workaround.
I appreciate you trying though. You're a gentleman and a scholar.

Very odd. I don't recall hearing of a similar issue before. About the only suggestion I have left is to check what version graphics drivers you are running. Seems unlikely to be related but random shots in the dark are all I can offer.
