As you can see, I own Mass Effect 2 and I should be able to comment on the ME2 forums but it won't let me. I can't even register my ME3 copy. Any ideas?

I think there's a 24 hour wait after you register your ME3 copy if I remember right.

There are a number of possible reasons.
I can't register my copy of ME3 because I don't have a home internet connection and Bioware secretly changed the rules so you have to play the game while online to register and refused to explain why they changed the rules or why they blocked the ME3 general discussion to unregistered people.
Presumably because Bioware wants people to invent paranoid theories about EA
