Hey,
I'm actually thinking of buying the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3 and I'm wondering, how much time did (whoever has it) you put into that DLC?
First time I played through Mass Effect 3 it was done pretty fast. This time I've been more focused on "exploring" and that and I got a few more hours out of the game; So how much actual playtime can I expect to get out of the DLC?

That first quest is a couple of hours, but otherwise, it will vary on your surviving characters of course. I think it was designed to take place after the Coup, and the squad meetups will just happen naturally throughout the course of the game after that. I'd just recommend it that way, not rushing anything, and doing the party before Horizon or Cronos.

Cool.
Buying that DLC could actually get me to do another playthrough

I spent 10 hours on the DLC, the first time round.

10 hours sounds a little high to me. But not by much.

I suppose if you take Armax pretty seriously (high difficulty, all unlocks), it can extend time quite a bit.

My playtime went from 32 hours at end-game with all previous DLC to 38 hours by the end of the Citadel DLC, and I didn't bother with the arena stuff, other than Jack's date.

Initial Story --> 3-5 hours
Visits + Minigames + Explore --> up to an hour or more?
Party --> 1-2 hours
= 4-8ish hours tops
Longer than Omega but not by much, unless you really get into the Arena (it can be at least a couple hours if you're into fully 'completing' it).
Definitely longer than Leviathan.

8-10 hours.
Defeating the N7 enemy with all debuffs was quite a challenge.

It pretty much depends on whether or not you like to rush through or take your time to explore.
The Citadel DLC is split into 2 sections, the first part is the main mission while the second opens up a new hub area on the Citadel.
I personally completed the main mission in around 2-3 hrs but I spent around 5-6hrs in the hub area exploring and taking part in some of the awesome activities.

for me. i clocked in about 5 hours until i was forced to stop, [ i started at midnight] and I still hadn't finished it. that's because i was trying to do EVERYTHING i could.
i know it's meant to start after the Coup. but i recommend playing it after the sanctuary mission and before you hit Cronus station. simply because all the characters [ alive that is} will come into play and you also get some nice interactions with your locked in LI.

4hours at the very maximum, did everything.
If anything the longest single section was the pull up battle.

I always like to take time and explore things.
I'm still not sure whether to buy it or not, since I'm a little concerned that it'd be over too fast for 15$. That's what I hate about Single Player, I love story - but at some point it's going to end, no matter what you do.

I can say it's really worth it. The party is just great, as well as the encounters with your squadmates. Plus, you can kill as many Cerberus troops as you want! (as if there weren't enough of them to kill during the game
).
Have yet to play it during the game (only played it all at the end, meaning I got all the "dates" and the party in one go!), but will do so the next time I'm starting a new ME3 playthrough.

The DLC is really woth it. IMO the best way to say goodbye to Shepard and her crew. Play it just before the Cronos station, so you have access to all the dlc content.

About 2-3 hours for the actual mission part, then another good 1-3 hours to see every character's new scenes on the citadel, the party (with some variations on that which would require you to save before it and try some different stuff to see it all) and then another 1-3 hours doing all of the stuff the combat arena has to offer.

if you dive deep into all the side activity stuff like the arcade and combat arena then in total there's probably at least a good seven hours or more to be had. It all depends on how much you like just fooling around with stuff that's just there for fun mostly.

Oh yes. Especially for those with Miranda as LI. Last chance, and she doesn't make it about her sister for a change.

Delta, it can be interpreted as an actual epilogue or ending. Best played just before going after Cronos Station. Make sure you save as many folks as possible.

Yeah. If it wasn't for mentions of Reapers (I'm not spoiling anything btw) I would just chalk this up to a post-victory DLC like Arrival for my Paragade Destroy Shepard (main).

I recently finished another playthrough of Mass Effect 3 so I guess buying this addon would give me a good opinion of "goodbye-ing" all characters.
Thanks again for all the information
